This isn't the office, Rocket. It's an effing sports blog. It seems like the joke has only offended you out of principle...... "WHat if there was a white cornerback at the bar"? WHat if a black person knew i was throwing out the HORRIBLE stereotype that african americans are more athletic than white people - oh, the humanity. I really should have been more sensitive.

FWIW, I ran into Danny Coale at Sharkey's in college. I told him I had just enough money to buy one jersey at the bookstore and I was debating between him and Macho Harris. He told me to buy his jersey because "he was the best white wide receiver in the ACC".

A vast majority of Keihn's highlight film is as a middle linebacker. I watched Ekanem play in high school. He was a defensive end every down I watched in person for two games (except when he was playing tight end on offense.) I think we confuse what Rivals projects a player to be with what they want to do. Some examples are players that have been brought up. Caleb was a quarterback in high school. Every down quarterback. He wasn't going to be a QB in college, so you see a guy with his height and speed and say "receiver." Nick Dew was another guy. Every film I watched of the kid had him as a linebacker. He never adjusted to the safety or whip positions.
But, sometimes the position change leads to big things. See Kam Chancellor. We will know soon if the Teller and Smith moves pay off. Holland Fisher will be another player who has all-world talent, but his position of strength is a big question mark. Wait until you read my film review on him this week. Your head will spin when I say he may be a MIKE linebacker.

Definitely not just 5, which is my original point. Bud says he would only want 5 plays back. I saw many more that, for whatever reason, QBs killed us whilst scrambling that I would prefer to have back. 5 plays is an undersell to the reality of how much scrambling took place.
I just want to understand better, let's say you were in a bar and someone made a light joke like that, would you stop the conversation and tell the person how tasteless it was? Would you tell them that a simple and harmless joke has no business in a bar?
Where exactly does a joke like that have business?

Agreed. Doesn't seem like they put a whole lot of effort into the alternate uniforms. At least something in the NCAA is still amateurish.
EDIT: The seam probably had something to do with manufacturing or applying the pattern. This is just a guess on my part.
