Wow, those were some very detailed, thought-out responses. Way to go Joe!
MVs play the imperial march occasionally when the defense takes the field.
Probably because it was talking about players going to the NFL...not Alabama and VT playing each other.
One other thing that I can think of is to add a portion of the student section for non-students. I am no longer a student, but whenever I go to games I always sit in the student section. I don't want people angry with me for standing up or sometimes making an ass out of myself, that's why I like sitting in the student section, because compared to most of them I'm pretty tame. But compared to the older people I can be a complete a-hole.
I think I remember reading earlier that Trey Gresh was also foregoing his r-SR year.

# | Bitter blog - Q&A: Loeffler talks run game, coaching continuity and stretching the defense SL lack of coach speak is refreshing. He does not throw individual names out to embarrass anyone, just tells it like it is. Coach speak makes my eyes glaze over.
Couldn't figure out how to get it to embed properly, but here's the link to the story.

Cavman gets dumped between 1:48 and 1:52.
It failed to mention that Saben is 2-0 against Frank in the last few years.
Yup, huge Verizon switch station ready for this season.
I'm not sure exactly how it works, but I don't believe that is the case. Minnesota and WVU both sell beer at their stadium and both stadiums are on their campus. I believe it is generally a rule that is made by the states and the universities. I think the old rule used to state that alcohol could not be sold for consumption at championship game events, but never specified regular season contests. A fair number (I think less than 20) currently sell beer at their games.
Someone said it, and thinking about it, that's another thing I miss.
It seems like the MVs play the same 3 songs OVER and OVER and OVER...I recall there being far more variety in their music. Any current, or recent MVs know if this is accurate? Did the "Hokie Respect" ACC thing cut back on what could be played?
Another topic that was brought up in what I had read was the implementation of many, many cops out there that cut down on fun and such to be had. I haven't had a run-in with event staff/police lately, but I almost got kicked out of the stands for STANDING UP too much when the game was being played. Why would I want to go to a game where I sat down the entire time, and didn't get to scream and jump up and down? That's what makes me not want to go.
Teach the student section to come early, stay late, be loud. I think that used to be the priority of the students. Now I think they are getting lazy. Obviously, fans everywhere like a winner, but people need to stick with the team through the ups and downs, not just wait for an ACC title to get hyped.
And the paper airplanes need to go. Maybe we can get some drones to start shooting them down, the NSA probably needs the practice and is already watching anyway.
I really, really miss the skydivers. the guys that would parachute in from planes and land on the field. Why arent we funding this????
I'm sure there are places that get away with it, but due to Lane technically being an "On-campus" stadium, NCAA rules prohibit the sale of alcohol. AFAIK the only way to side-step that would be to have it become a multi-purpose venue (such as holding concerts open to the public).
We have had short RB's before. This is an impressive amount no matter what the stature.
Actually glad to hear that. Other than getting tossed around a bit from his size as a freshman, I was very happy with Kline.
I think this is part of the project going on behind east stands currently.
I know they're supposedly doing this already but I can't stress a good wifi connection enough. I realize that it could turn into instagram and facebook time for many but I love checking on other games during commercial stoppages. It's a pretty small upgrade but it would be such a huge improvement in my books
Troegs has duck fat french fries here in Hershey - they are amazing. Even more better is their Poutine, which is the same french fries, gravy, and cheese curds.
Well, it may not be a preference as much as throwing to Jace Amaro, the 2nd best TE in this draft class and NCAA record holder for receiving yards in a season for a TE.
This is how I picture your pregame for next year, VB06.

And this is how I picture your post-game:

I had a similar idea, except instead of your Hokie Passport, the ticket is a remote-control helicopter. To get in, the people at the gates simply scan your helicopter and give you a controller for it. Cuts down on the wasted paper, and, no more airplanes.
FTFY
Just stick to sneaking in your airplane bottles OF BOURBON instead.
nope

Coach speak is very similar to political speak:
You gotta be slip slidin away!
