He was Waived/Injured by the Jets in August. There was no disclosure of the injury that I can find but after clearing waivers, he was placed on injured reserve by the Jets and paid an injury settlement. Depending on the severity of the injury, I would expect he will at least get a shot this season in someone's off season workouts/preseason.
I don't think there's much monetary incentive (yet) for MOST businesses to invest in designing apps. But I agree with your dream. I'd love to get rid of my cable box and just use appletv. The only thing stopping me is that not enough channels have a live stream on Apple TV (like ESPN). If CNN, ESPN, HBO, SHO, NFL, NBA, and NCAA all had an Apple TV app allowing me to watch anything on their network, I would drop my cable box immediately.
Not to go further off-topic, but I highly recommend reading the ESPN book by James Andrew Miller. It gives a lot of insight into how ESPN started, why it is where it is today, and how the TV/Cable business works.

Should have included last nights Women's Basketball win up there. 74-48 over Clemson, who they will most likely face in the first round of the ACC tournament. First time since 2007 they've had a three game win streak during conference play.

It would've been cool to see, but I don't care that much. It's not like an ESPN special is going to help LT's draft stock, every team with any interest will interview him and come with their own opinion of him.

Why all the ESPN hate? They don't care about VT b/c we haven't been relevant in 2 seasons. They didn't care much about Mich St much either until this year. They're part of the media; it's just the way the game is played.
He's been out of the league since August, 2013 as a free agent. Don't know if he's realized yet that physical tools alone don't cut it in the NFL, you also have to put in the effort.

We all know our offense didn't have a stellar year. The best way I can put it is... We showed glimpses of excellence and we might have woken up 1 or 2 days and peed excellence (Miami and GT) but then there were the other days (Maryland, Duke) where we couldn't figure out Orange from White.

Some people on the canes forum's are loving this idea, others are laughing because it puts a ton of pressure on a guy like duke to come back fast and healthy. the only other rb that is not a freshman or r freshman is gus edwards, who looks more like a fb than rb
If you look though, Michigan State came in at #5 because their defense carried the team. On the opposite end, Oregon, Auburn, and Texas A&M all had far superior offensive lines because that was their strength. Just because there is disparity between our OL and DL, it doesn't mean our OL was poor. It just means our DL was superb and performed better than our OL. We all knew this though.
I think we all knew this: our offensive line needed some work, despite improvements we saw this year, and our defensive line is beast, because lunchpail.
How about we don't piss and moan about the "obvious snub" considering we know essentially zero details of how these players were chosen?
yeah, at VT we make QBs into TEs, and TEs into QBs. And we used to start an entire OL of TEs. Athletes have always been DBs and WRs
