Yeah it's amazing how post mordum we look back and are like...well he is/was a great guy cause he passed untimely.
The dude was a straight up asshole. When he played for the U, there was a reason we played harder, he was one of them. Ask any Hokie of that time period, the swagger was strong in that one.

I think the problem is that you're not really supposed to play during the Pro Bowl. Just kinda lackadaisically run around because you're thinking about what you'll be doing afterwards on your Hawaiian vacation.
Couple of reasons.
We had better receivers in 2004 than we have now. We also had a QB that took a massive step forward throughout the season, whereas last year, Logan continued the regression that was the trend post-2011. Some would correctly point out that the reasoning behind this is that Randall actually had good QB coaching where Logan was ruined by O'Cain.
I like one guy because he went to VT. I don't like the other guy, because he went to DA U.

Watching the Pro Bowl hit, I still have no idea what everyone's upset with. Moorman had the ball, he was running and Sean got a good solid hit on the ballcarrier. Moorman only showed why he is a punter, not a running back. Was it a violent hit? YEP. In a game of the best players vs the best players, I don't see why it would be surprising that someone is playing at full effort. He didn't go at the knees or helmet to helmet. Sean put his shoulder/arm in Moorman's chest and knocked him on his ass!
If Kam wants to hit like Sean, that's cool with me!
everybody in the south end zone thought the kick was good until they said it wasnt.
I've been watching a lot of film on him, more of a Tavon Austin type of player even though he was a WVU player just most similar to his return ability and also playmaking ability with the ball
He has plenty of time left at VT, so I would give him the best odds out of our current WRs. Similar player to Clowney.
Besides '99, '04 was my favorite year.
Nothing wrong with remembering the best about someone. If the end result is that it makes you a better person and a better player, I'm all for using whatever tools you have available.

I only had the second half on in the background, but they definitely switched to zone. BC stopped shooting well from 3 but our offense is so putrid that it didn't matter.

Going by the HS (Hulk Smash) service, Sam Rogers is obviously our highest rated recruit of all time.
Interesting to note, UVA fans often use the MPP ratings service to bolster their esteem. MPP (My Pretty Pony) places a high value on hair styling and tea party etiquette.
I still don't understand how Joey Phillips scored so low on the MPP index. Granted, he knew nothing of scones and pinky-finger positioning, and his grasp of the concept of napkin use (much less the proper folding of) was questionable at best.
But his hair was impeccable.
Probably the best talent we've ever had at WR as a group. Consider 3 contributing freshman, and Clowney. All but one made an NFL roster. Two of which are consistent contributers on the Redskins and Chargers.
A good shot. The kid's gonna be special by the time he leaves.
