I would think that's more on the officer than on us, BUT yeah, kid. Not good.

Hopefully the coaches will use this at their social media meeting with the players as a "DON'T DO THIS" example.

Yeah I know. Sorry was being pedantic. turkey leg as an apology?

What I mean is that it is a violation of a rule of governance from a incorporated entity and not a law passed by a government.

When I said "violation of the law" I was referring to the example of speeding. And I do believe that bylaws are referred to simply as laws quite often.

Just followed @WhitBabcock, he was at 7,160. Ten minutes later, he's at 7,205. Wonder how many followers he had two days ago!

Let's welcome him in with a Victory over UVA in BBall...

I have a solution to lb depth problems. We take Lebron James out of the Nba and give him a full ride to Vt as he has not yet attended college an then we start him at every Lb spot and add an extra 2 men to the defensive backfield

Perhaps a bit late to the game, but I'd be okay with black unis under two conditions:
1) they'd be the only special unis we had all season, and
2) no more all-orange.

My only question is why the VT AD hired London as head of stadium security after the athlete pay scandal was finally revealed when the TKP staff got wondering how the UVA football budget could be so consistently high season after season.

I knew this would get a little heated but the point was not to create an argument. The point was to acknowledge that schools say it is a violation. Whether enforced or not, by the letter of the law, it's a violation. Do what you want, but just as someone else said, it's like going 5 miles over the speed limit. You won't likely be cited for the it but it's still a violation of the kaw. If you are cited, you have absolutely no room to argue. I'm sure this rule will change in time, but right now that's what it is.

I gotta say that I fall a little into this camp as well. I have no ill will toward the man but I just get the sense that this was his plan all along. There's nothing necessarily wrong with that and he may even had been upfront about it. We needed an OL coach and he needed a job to transition. Hell, maybe we've been speaking to candidates for months now knowing Grimes was going to leave. I don't know.

What I do know is that I feel a bit let down. He talked a big game and got everyone excited that OL at VT was gonna be alright after all, and then gone. He said he was here to build the toughest OL in the ACC and yet now I can see he had his eye on the way out the whole time.

I appreciate how much he helped improve our OL this season. It could have been disastrous and was merely mediocre. But I expected more from him.
