I would say so, which is probably why they went with orange numbers with the black jerseys against BSU. I don't think it was a rule back then, but for TV purposes they generally like to have colors that contrast so the announcers can tell players apart.
No, it's not like marijuana at all. What the NCAA is trying to discourage is directly opposed by federal law (see the 1st amendment), possession of certain substances is not. This rule forbidding fans from tweeting recruits is unlawful by definition. It would never hold up in court, so I don't think there's a point in arguing over whether it should be followed or not.
P.S. I've never tweeted a recruit, I'm just saying that this rule is stupid and illegal

So does that mean the dark maroon numbers that some proposed for the (also proposed) black unis would be in violation? I wouldn't think that would be enough contrast IMO. But... I'm also colorblind, so I don't think my opinion should carry much weight there.

That's when the wins matter for the redskins. I went this past year when they played the steelers on Monday night and they won. It was nice because my friend got the tickets from his boss and he is a steelers fan. I was also the smart one and took tuesday off and he didn't.

Babcock needs to take full control of the uniforms, no more "seniors choose them" unless the seniors have a very few choices. This is the biggest brand impact we have, we need to stop muddling it up.

Most refer to a "single color," but the rulebook (which I found at http://www.dfoa.com/attachments/article/69/2013-14_Football_Rule_Book.pdf and am assuming to be legit since it is branded with the NCAA logo and dated for 2013-2014) actually states:
The jersey must have clearly visible, permanent Arabic numerals measuring at least 8 and 10 inches in height front and back, respectively, of a color that itself is clearly in distinct contrast with the color of the jersey, irrespective of any border around the number.

As much as I love the idea of Hokie stone numbers, I think NCAA regulations require a solid color now.

I'm living and Arlington and I would go to games against Georgetow/GW/GMU ect.
I'm a huge lions fan so im definently biased but I would live to see him on the team with a great receiver like megaton and a chance to practice with those guys. Maybe his character can ruboff on the rest of the team

To be fair... kickoffs against the WCU's of the world are generally at 1:30. It's the games that someone actually wants to broadcast that are the nooners.

If you haven't seen this kid's tape yet, you should watch a few minutes of it. CSL needs this guy in a bad way. I hope like hell we can hold on to him, and have to think he's got a real chance of seeing the field in 7.5 months.

I'd say he's glad to have the depth coming in and thinks he can mold them into better players regardless of who recruited them. At least that's what I think any quality coach would think.
I actually like our traditional uniforms. I'd like to see our alternative modern uniforms as an alternate uniform 1-2 games a year.
Though on the other hand, that year we wore jerseys with one orange shoulder, those were pretty freakin' sweet.
I know we have a few graphic designers on here. Here is a great opportunity!
