No but, good try.
Why would a 5star pay to play for London?
He was paying them, which is why so much cash was needed to maintain operations and how he could get big names kids to play for him. Allegedly.

It could be taken as he is set to stay with VT or he has his mind made up he is going elsewhere and he is saying more like " that's fine I know I am going to ______ instead".

Hopefully staying with VT

That's how I read it too, I prefer your interpretation. Is there a class us old guys can take on how to decipher Twitter posts? Half of them leave me confused and wondering if English is a required HS class anymore.

I, too, am disappointed that Grimes is leaving, but I do not begrudge him at all for doing so. Assuming he's getting a hefty pay raise at LSU, it is a really a no-brainer.

During the course of my career, I had two jobs at which I stayed for only 1 year. One of those I had every intention of using as a stepping stone job (and no one was surprised when I left), and the other I had planned on staying longer, but an opportunity that I couldn't pass up presented itself after a year. Taking that opportunity was one of the best life decisions I have ever made.

Here's the thing: I can honestly say that I gave both of those companies my best efforts as an employee, and I think I left both of those places in better shape than when I started.

And that's how I look at Grimes. I think we got his best effort as an OL coach, and I think VT football is in better shape now than it was 1 year ago thanks to his efforts.

Sam Rogers is also about to retire from the NFL after breaking multiple individual records; the first individual player to ever win eight Super Bowls; five as a starting FB, two as a starting WR, and one as a starting QB (in the year he rushed for a record 56 touchdowns in the first eight games of the season, along with a yards-per-punt average of 61 yards). Of course, all of this occurring while he wins ten state championships as the Head Coach of Hanover High School. Five Guys is also completing a new series of commercials celebrating their fifteen year key sponsorship of Rogers, which has led them to seven straight years of being the leading fast food chain in all of North America and Ireland combined. His VT senior year number of "SR" (no actual number was worthy) is retired during halftime of the VT Spring Game, attended by all 114,000 people, including all six of his sons (yes, all born at the same time) who are now battling for the starting QB spot on VT's football team.

For all the "old school" people. We will not be going back to the Vick era um is sorry but its not happening, we are NOT Michigan or Penn st or bama or any of those programs that have that iconic uni set. That said change wll happen, I'm normally againt the blackout for the sake of a blackout thing, bit this makes to much sense not to. The game is on black Friday for Christ's sake. I'm also ready for the "throwback" units to go away forever. Time for a new uni set. Something simple yet modern take the seahawks uni turn the blue maroon and the grey chest stripes orange. Eliminate the green triangle on the shoulder and pants stripes and BOOM perfect

Just tweet UVA's recruits instead. It'll be fine.

If you get caught tweeting VT's recruits, just tell him you're from the same area. Which area? 'MERICA!s

No, seriously, don't be a creep.

Preference for uniforms:

1) Maroon
2) Other
3) AllOrange, unless it's against Clemson, with a single bold turkey track on an orange helmet, just to confuse them.

I didn't like black uniforms against Boise, not because they didn't look sweet (I think they did), but because it was a big game in a big venue on national tv and i thought we should have repped the true colors.

However,

Black Friday, Black Pro Combat Uniforms, the marketing writes itself! Come join us to mourn another loss for UVA on BLACK FRIDAY! AT NIGHT! With ENTER SANDMAN blasting on the stadium!

I'm already in uniform. Check out my unfettered awesomeness!

black horse

I'll miss his intensity. I went to Boston for the BC game and when I walked outside the team hotel about 8:00am, he had his OL out in the parking lot walking through plays. That was pretty cool in my book.

I think Grimes did the best he could while he was here and did not plan to be one and done. He certainly recruited like he expected to be here next year.

Best wishes to him.

If the coaches were pulling his scholarship offer, there's no way he'd even be in Blacksburg for an official visit. My guess is "da boys" are the player-hosts, and they're telling him his journey ends at VT, where he belongs.

Not Pittsburgh. Not Redskins (I'm a Redskins fan). Carolina and SF already have offenses built around guys like him, I could see him fitting into a backup role nicely there and he'd have a lot of time to develop. Ravens, probably would be good.

If the Tim you are talking about is Tim Settle I'd say for him to definitely not stop recruiting Time, 5 star 2015 DT from Northern VA

Unless he's saying he doesn't mind them pulling his scholly since he's not gonna need it....

Sorry to be Mr. Sunshine here, but that's how I took it.

I would say that's great news. He's in blacksburg this weekend and the guys are telling him not to take anymore visits and he's cool with that...at least that's how it sounds to me.
