I never said that
I think that many people (and I'm speaking for myself as well here) like her so much because she seems really down to earth. If you see her interviews and the way she carries herself you can really tell that she's not the stereotypical stuck up actress type. She has a terrific sense of humor and she is perfectly happy just being herself. She knows she has flaws and she's not afraid to let everybody see them. It's refreshing.
She is a talented actress and also attractive..but the biggest reason I like her is because of her personality.
Edit: I also wanted to add that Emma Watson is absolutely stunning but I'm not sure I would want to hang out with her as a friend. Jennifer Lawrence, on the other hand, seems like the type of person I could invite over to eat pizza and play drinking games in my basement (with other friends of course..not trying to be creepy here) and have a blast doing it.
Well said! Hey, on a related note....Any chance the Steelers pick up Kyle Fuller? That would be nice!
The only reason I would raise the fees is to encourage more people to attend and stay at games. If you pay more you will want to get something for it. $273 is a bargain and most could care less if they never use it. If you are paying $1,000 (the state average for public universities) you will want to go to every event possible.
Pop quiz: What position was Logan Thomas lined up as on this play?
(Hint: It wasn't TE)
Willie Byrn lead us in receiving yards at 660 yards. That calculates to 22.7% of Logan Thomas' total yards passing. As a comparison.
I would never say they only lose TE Eric Ebron. That's probably the best Tight End in the nation. I just looked it up and he was on the receiving end of 710 yards of Williams 1,698 yards passing. That's ~ 42% of his receiving yards gone. Huge loss for UNC.
Google reverse image search is telling me it's from a movie called The Bling Ring (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2132285/)
I am probably not very rational about Greenberg, but I would have fired him for not offering Steph Curry a scholarship. Period.
You hit on almost every point. The turnovers on fast breaks make me lose my mind, and I think your comment about running the sidelines is what is at the root of it. The lack of the second option to drop the ball to makes it easy for the defender to cut off the pass.
My comments about the screens was directed more at the route they take. Watch them and you will see that their route across the court many times puts the offense out of synch. I don't know if its lack of fitness or just sloppy ball, but too many times the guy at the top of the key is suffocating with the ball and his option is still rounding the screen rather than already in the shooting transition.
I know we don't have completely polished big men but I would like each one of them to have at least one move to create a shot. The other thing they are really bad about is instead of putting a rebound right back up for the shot, they drop it to the floor for one dribble allowing the defenders to reset. Thanks for the feedback, appreciate it.
How exactly did he motivate his team by leaving the field early?
I think most other professional football players could do without someone screaming at them and throwing things on the ground. They know how to motivate themselves.
Dez is just another prima donna wide receiver. When he doesn't get the numbers he likes one week, he complains that he's not getting the ball enough instead of working his trade to get better.
He has never thrown a fit. He is always trying to motivate his team, the media is just really really stupid.
But linemen have a lot of trouble bringing him down. Ben didn't have great pocket presence his rookie year if my memory serves me right, but he was tough to bring down and developed that over time. I agree on the mechanics though, Ben might be the best passing quarterback on the run.
as an Eagle fan, I would like that. Hard to ask for more than that 27:2 TD:INT ratio. And they have Barkley, who they're probably not ready to give up on.
I know people are going to hate this, but I think UNC defeats us and will go on to win the Coastal next year. On offense, they only lose TE Eric Ebron and 2 offensive linemen. QB Marquise Williams was playing great by the end of the season and their skill positions are littered with very talented underclassmen. On defense, they lose 2 DLs and 3 DBs, but their linebacking corp should be very strong. I believe UNC was a case of being predicted to win "a year too early," but I don't think that will be the case in 2014 with the youth on the roster getting valuable experience and starting to gel by the end of this past season.
Is this an NCAA Violation to follow him????
The whole premise of the NCAA rule is stupid. If I want to have a conversation with another human being, I'm going too. The NCAA can pass whatever "rules" they want too
AZ seems like a good fit. Palmer for another year or two and then LT gets a shot. I think TN would be a decent shot too - he can probably beat out Locker, who has either been hurt or average in his young career.
Under 10k Hokie Club Members is shocking. Agree - number one focus needs to be complete rehaul and refocus of Hokie Club efforts in order to assure VT's future competitiveness is not restricted by revenue.
"@PrezOno @niiickbauer would camping out on Sheakley Lawn the nt before L'ville bball game be allowed? / If no intramurals, bring it! :)— Whit Babcock (@WhitBabcock) January 21, 2014
This is his most recent tweet responding to a student. Obviously you can't tell much from that, but at least he seems to try and cater to the students. That's always good for morale.
Not trying to dash anyone's hopes but we definitely need more information:
Babcock, who was hired as UCs athletic director on Oct. 22, 2011, had his contract extended last year through June 30, 2020.
Babock did not respond to a request for comment on Thursday, but a source in the UC athletic department said Babcock did not apply for the Virginia Tech job. That doesnt necessarily mean Babock is not a candidate

He's on twitter if anyone wants to check him out. Seems to be genuinely enthusiastic and obviously he's down with social media, which is pretty important in this day and age. His handle is pretty simple @whitbabcock.
That's exactly the king of energy we need to kick things off. If true, I love it!
I don't think that rule should exist, silly and too hard to enforce. But I do think everyone should view it as creepy which makes the rule discussion silly. Cause it's creepy.

With a name like BabCOCK , how can he not bring back Stick It In?
