I saw this last night and as I was reading it, I found my self getting angry, but also pleased with somebody bringing this to the forefront. I think both parts are at fault though, us fans, if we truly bled maroon and orange then 65,000 plus should all be Hokie Club members, second the Hokie Club needs to promote better. I didnt even know i could be in the Hokie club until the thread on here, ive been a Vt for 28 years. I say make ballien the head of the Hokie club and watch us prosper like never before. I also believe that athletes that get to come to college for free( no rent, free food, free clothing and unis) should donate back once they make it big. The rock bought miami a new damn gym! I really think us fans should run the Hokie Club, and we need to get involved in this bigtime.

Don't forget about Megatron. It's kindve hard to overthrow a receiver of his size. Logan had a great season his first year starting. He wasn't more accurate during that season, he just had great receivers who could catch anything when the ball was within a certain window. With Calvin, that window is GIGANTIC.

He seems to be getting hurt much more lately. Just think they could make a push for a QB to start in 3 years when Romo's gotten much older

Was a Platinum Hokie...in fact, I am only $5k from being a Hokie Benefactor...but I stopped giving to the Hokie Club and instead give to the university elsewhere. I stopped giving because I was growing increasingly frustrated with:
1. The direction, or lack thereof, the FB and BB program. The loss of our identity and toughness over the last several years has been inexcusable, along with the refusal to adapt and grow.
2. The personal value rec'd from donating to the Hokie Club has diminished. Not only are the fans now treated like criminals and annoyances, but there is really no reward for paying premium prices. We were club seat holders since they opened, but the club offers nothing extra... bare bones concessions (less than available on the concourse) and the convenience of being stopped every 10 feet to show your wrist band AND ticket. Other programs have incredible concessions and services for their clubs, offering more of a special experience....not so much at Tech.

yeah, i think the VTAF is its own entity that cuts a check to the VT Athletic Dept every year. in exchange, they receive parking spaces which are given to season ticket holders who donate, etc.

i do, however, think the Athletic Dept can be very involved in how it operates since the 2 entities rely so much on each other.

Saints playing behind Drew Brees would be his best chance to succeed. Additionally, I think Logan could really do well with the weapons the Saints have. For instance having Jimmy Graham and Darren Sproles as safety valves. This is something I think that VT was lacking his last two years. His sophomore year Danny Coale was great at this and David Wilson as well. I just feel like Logan plays much better when isn't forced to look for the big play every time and instead has easy passes that can turn into big plays.

Look, I'm not going to get in a big debate about this. It's not that interesting a topic to me.

Looking at the current NFL rosters, UVA has pretty much identical numbers as VT.

I think my point is defensible, but I'm not going to argue with someone whether an opposing player is stupid because of something said in 140 characters or less.

If it satisfies your fandom to do so, well more power to you. You'll definitely win by default.

Going to be honest. Im not sure we want to heat up a "sending you to the NFL debate". Tech and UVA are about on an even playing field there as hard as that is to admit. Although Kam Chancellor is having a hell of a year so thats pretty awesome.
