# | Bitter blog - With Grimes on the move, what now for Virginia Tech's offensive line? I agree, we might be setting ourselves up for some disappointment here.
different sport - wouldn't have done football
Not if causes extra strife with our other coaches for a man who while a great O Line coach is not a proven recruiter.
Almost got a downvote from me for using a hurricanes clip.

# | Bitter blog - With Grimes on the move, what now for Virginia Tech's offensive line? but my guess is it would take a serious financial commitment to pry Washington away from the NFL.
This was my big question...are we going to end up paying what LSU will pay Grimes anyway and is that, in the end, ok if we get a Hokie?
Tech could do worse than Stiney. I would kind of like it if Tech moves Stiney over to coach O-Line and TE's. That free's up a spot for a Special Teams Coach (either Shane or new hire). As much as Beamer is reportedly the coach of "Pride & Joy" our special teams have been flat out bad for about 5 years now.
Why people get so worked up over downvotes is beyond me. It was a fat finger and has since been corrected. If it was just one, take that giant chill pill. If it's a bunch then you can start pointing it out.

It's probably just for recruiting purposes but I could use some good news so I'm choosing to believe it.

exactly- the program is an attractive destination for quality coaches. Realistically, how many of us knew who Grimes was before he came to VT? I didn't. He's good but there are other good coaches out there who would love to coach for Frank.
As an Auburn alum, I really wouldn't be opposed to this.
The main reason: all the STUPID announcers constantly saying "Well, I know the Tigers are going to with this one" when we play LSU, Mizzou, or Clemson.
mixed them up with Purdue- my Bad but still- Iowa shouldn't be considered a powerhouse and VT a cupcake.
I would rather drink the sweat from the horse on the treadmill then Zima with skittles .... like UVA fans
(... like UVA fans needs its own thread)
Let's hope it stops at ONE...
that was one of my last games as a student, place was rocking for sure. my buddies and I had student season tickets in the second row on the sideline across form the visitor bench....made for an awesome season for us
"It's time to put the hay in the barn."
...and burn the f#ckin' barn to the ground.
The horse isn't dead...its on a treadmill.
Buster Douglas needed a knockout performance....Chris Weidman needed a knockout performance against Anderson Silva...JMU needed a knockout performance against the Hokies in 2010.
A punchers chance....that is what we live for...that is why we play the game.
Knock em out Hokies...Knock em out and shut up the critics.
The ice storm game vs Maryland is how Cassell should be rock'n. One of my favorites
Re-read what he wrote:
Kyle Fuller would be great for the Redskins, meaning the Redskins would benefit from having Kyle Fuller.
The Redskins would not be great for Kyle Fuller, meaning that Kyle Fuller would probably benefit more by being on a different team.
He's not wrong, you know.
eh...I think this was a pretty smart tweet by Shane...damage control...and I HOPE it's true, but I'm definitely skeptical at this point.
Its more fun if we get mad and get all worked up...thats what rooting for a college football team is all about.
I would rather be passionate and angry then passive, dumb, and happy....like UVA fans.
I would rather have the highs and the lows and feel something....anything.
Poor UVA fans just have a weak, crappy team with no chance of winning and feel nothing...

# | "...especially with a weak non-conference schedule that includes Navy, Virginia Tech and Cincinnati..." These types of articles are going to happen a lot over the next few months. If there's a post every time this happens it's going to be unbearable to be on these forums. It's going to be like how a few months ago the ESPN hate got extremely obnoxious. We need to preemptively just let the dead horse die and focus on stuff that makes a difference to the program.
The past decade just hasn't prepared us enough for this situation.

I don't get it... I could NEVER Limbo under that bar!
