Where's that "not a single fuck was given" gif?
Which is not going to happen until after signing day since he has to resign his LOI
I root for all of the Hokies on the Redskins roster to play well enough to earn a contract elsewhere, but for the Skins to lose.
1. Free throws - 4 for 14 is just flat out unacceptable.
2. Not blaming the refs, but they certainly didn't help there in the last 2 minutes
3. We seem to be incapable of finishing a game strong
4. Free Cadarian Raines! JJ is doing a huge disservice to the team keeping him on the bench.
5. Too many 3 attempts, work the ball inside more
It's not official until VT starts talking about him. Until then, more rumors.
....and they have given us stiff competition almost every time we play them. Whether that's an indictment of where we stand as a program or where they have risen to is the real question.
Making a bowl for 1 season doesn't mean alot...but making a bowl for 21 straight years DOES mean something.
I can't stand this "Chicken Little" attitude.
Two mediocre seasons and the sky is falling. Give the coaches and the team some time to right the ship.
I for one think next year will be better then you think. I disagree...VT is not a weak opponent for Ohio State.
After all, the Hokies play a weak out of conference schedule that includes William & Mary, Western Michigan, and Ohio State...
After some Googling, it seems as though student athletes are allowed to work summer jobs, as long as their hours are fully documented and they are working a job for which they are qualified and receiving pay that is competitive for such a position. So, even if it was Skip's, as long as he was only there during the summer he should be fine.
I agree. I am an alumni who is busy doing other things and I like basketball but I need at least two tickets (wife and I). I am not going to pay $1000 for our bad program, especially when they schedule games mid week during working hours when I wouldn't be able to go anyway.
With this logic, we shouldn't be complaining about playing ECU... They made a bowl!
Im just sad we lost a true OL recruiter and that is why I am hesitant about Stiney being the OL coach. I would rather us get an OL coach who knows his stuff but also it would be an additional good recruiter for our staff. This is why I think Todd Washington would be good. He is able to say he coached NFL linemen. He can show the rings. He can say his guys paved the way for Ray Rice's success.
Also I like adding more alumni to the staff. It will help create the continuity in the staff.
They need to do something creative...whether its lowering prices, instituting a tiered ticket system, or offering additional benefits as part of the season ticket packages, things like meet and greets with the players, a chance to watch a practice, a tour of the basketball facility, or other such things that make the season tickets more attractive.
Yeah im not really sure how Athens is any better. But whatever.
Why the hell would I get a downvote for this post?
We lost Grimes...will probably lose Taylor. Jefferson hasn't qualified.
I said lets get Nnadi and keep Harrison....Getting Fisher is great news.
Yeah, seems deserving of a downvote.
Duke was good, BC was good, but Maryland wasn't a good team this year. They were average at best. It was the one game this year (not counting UCLA) where the defense just didn't show up with a plan to win.
This was the line from the article that leaned me towards retaliation.
The Maryland attorney general's office called that move "a competitive reaction" to Maryland's departure.
Either way, its probably going to get dragged on for years and when its all said and done the legal teams for both parties will probably benefit more than the "winner"
I think attendance would be much better if Tech lowered season ticket prices for alumni, or at least they would sell more tickets.
Yeah, as long as it's Hop's business card it's fine, but if his little brother did any work for him over the summer it's not fine.
gotcha, sleeping around, fiance said he had to move or she's out. Going to UGA. That should work out fine.
There are two sets of Bulldogs too. I think their next expansion should include Louisiana Tech.

It will be very interesting to see how Grimes does with a beast OL and one of the best RB commits in the country. I will be watching LSU and probably wishing that we at VT could have a beast OL and one day return to the promise land.
