Meh, I could care either way who get's what job. The biggest thing for me is now any recruit who may have been thinking about decommiting from PSU for VT will probably stay commited now. Same with Louisville too.
One small thought: the players that PSU will be signing this year, may not have to deal with the bowl ban. There has been a push to get PSU back into the bowls and it is likely that 2014 will be their last year of the bowl ban (NCAA continues to monitor progress and said it will reevaluate PSU as time passes). This means that if kids are redshirted for 2014 - they'll play in a bowl for all 4 years or 3 if they play right away. Big selling point for PSU moving foward.
I've always liked calling them the Bumblin' Wreck, since Ramblin -> Rumblin -> Bumblin has been the way they've gone since CPJ took over. Pun was entirely unintentional until now, I hadn't ever put the two together. This makes my life.
Incredible.
ESPN lost all respect from me years ago - this kind of crap just makes it worse.
No doubt!!!
Here we go with all the "Bud to Vandy" rumors.
when you're carrying half the defense on your back for an extra ten yards it's not hard to see how Miles Jack can get absolutely demolished, roll, get back up and then still get in on the tackle.
Franklin is a good coach and a good hire for PSU. O'Brien was a good coach and a good hire for PSU. When it comes to the "Impact on our recruiting there and their recuriting here" it feels like a wash to me.
ESPN will never be confused with "Classy". Remember their the SEC mouthpiece!!
We. Need. Hokie. Football!

Because you're Vandy and whoever you hire will only be around for so long. If you hire a young guy like Franklin, if he's successful then he will be stolen by a bigger program.

I'm going to defend abarri9 for posing the original question, because it's a legitimate one to ask. It's different than the "Put in Leal!" and "He's a TE playing QB" memes that spiralled out of control while Logan played at Tech.
I hope Logan has a long NFL career. If I was a head coach / general manager my mentality would be to bring him in as a QB, but have him moving positions as a backup plan. If he's drafted, that's my guess for what will happen. Most NFL coaches think they can coach any player up, and will marvel at Logan's athleticism and upside. Also, a prudent GM will see there's less risk in drafting him because if he busts at QB, he good be a stud at TE.
So that was Miles Jack that got knocked down on initial contact, right? Its pretty impressive how quickly he bounces back up and is in on the tackle at the end. Great effort all around on that play.
Don't forget we have 2 Beamers!
Anyone have a source to the nugget on the original post that VT is 6th in wins in the BCS era?
My thoughts exactly... No way in hell.
That's trashy as hell, but also pretty genius.

My wife concurrs with your assessment of Iowa games. She's been to both Iowa and VT games...said ours was louder, but Iowa was close.
Right, they could pick on guys like AJ Hughs. Hey look what this punter did last year that didn't make the ESPN highlights but, 44.5 yds ave punt (guess), # of tackles and a key forced fumble.
That sort of thing.
Walk on Freshman Fullback with arms like David Banner when he's pissed. 2 passes complete out of 2 attempts in the red zone.....
I don't know when the big SEC ESPN contract start(s, ed) but the positions and disparity has been there for a long time.
Season tickets will decrease.
Even my wife, doesn't like the schedule.

Don't forget Hop, Skip and Jump!
