This just goes to show recruiting don't mean every thing. Bama has more talent than OU but this game isn't over just yet.. I'd be surprised if Bama didn't make a run in the second half to make this a closer game.

This is funny to me that you've said this please don't assume that because I'm blogging here that I've never played college football before. I'm 26 years old and I've played college football before. Please please don't assume that just because we're young that we don't know what we're talking about... There's some people on here that I think are very knowledgeable about the game of football. Signing a contract extension certainly doesn't DQ him from consideration by Texas. All that does is tell Texas what their "floor" is on the offer.
I feel the same about Jimbo's recent contract extension. He's still in this game too.
