I thought the exact same thing.

He could be our Myles Jack, no?

Why waste the year with a RS-Sr when you think you can have the same result with one of the Fr.?

I think one of the freshmen will start... but...

If Leal can give the team an extra two wins, then he deserves the start. Recruiting is a lot easier if you have 8 wins instead of 6. The program is finally starting to pick up momentum on the recruiting trail, I would hate to see that fall apart because of a bad season.

I completely forget about that WVU game and I was there to witness it.

No one has had more hype, not even MV7. He was to be the second coming and got close, but fucked it up.

Believe me, I bought the MV5 jersey (the first round of alternate jerseys for us) and told people "he's gonna be better than Michael, you watch!"

He also let me down. What can I say?

Edmunds 30-35 times(Brandon Ore)and a QB who makes just enough plays! 06 all over again! If Glennon can go 10-3 this team can do it

Interceptionception

...ceptionceptionceptionception...

There is a 0.0% chance that one of the TRUE freshman start at QB next year. Anyone who has watched the footage of either without orange and maroon glasses would know that the notion of either starting is a pipedream. They are NOT 5* talents, folks. They are borderline 3*/4* talents and VT will lucky if one of the 2 is ready to start as a r-FR in Sept 2015, let alone 9 months from now against Ohio State.

The old adage that the further away from the ball you are, the more ready you are to play as a freshman. QB is about as close as it gets to the ball. If VT is starting a true frosh at QB, be scared...very scared.

Barring injury, I'd be shocked if anyone other than Leal starts at QB next year. There was a big reason why Beamer stuck with Logan Thomas throughout this season and there is almost certainly a big reason he has already stated that Leal is his guy for 2014.

Anything else, it just wishful thinking.

So he's Logan Thomas without the power run threat? :)

I didn't say I knew it, I said he was the worst "in my eyes." It's just my opinion. There have been other guys kicked off the team for drugs, alcohol, violence, etc. In my opinion, MV5 is the worst I have heard of and experienced. Others' opinions are different, and I respect that.

Sure, it's their job, and I believe that they do it well.

On the field, though, if the players take plays off or use poor technique, it's on them. They're grown men and have been playing the game long enough to know what to do (in most cases).

Fullerception?

Inter-ception?

Wrapping up is an attempt to tackle. Not wrapping is an attempt to knock down through sheer force.
If he had been trying to interfere with the pass, he'd have had his arms up to move to block the ball or hit the QBs arms in the act of performing the pass or follow through.

He did not do this and contact was a full step after the ball was released. The hit came too late to impact the pass in any way. It was a target to punish the defenseless player.

A person doesn't know until they've been tried so I will just have to take your word for it. In that case that would make you somewhat of a rarity. I guess my main question is how do you (and a good deal of others) KNOW that he is the "worst Hokie ever"? Have you had the opportunity to investigate or interview EVERY Hokie ever?

Yeah seriously Bleacher Report.

Other fan bases: "Who on earth is Kyle Fuller? Virginia Tech? Bleacher Report is such garbage"

Our fan base: "Yeah seriously Bleacher Report"

Agreed.

Hackenberg: "This guy that's recruiting me coached Tom Brady and coached under Bill Belichick"

Also Hackenberg: "I accept."

He was getting a great QB education up here but that ship may have sailed. He should seriously consider Duke.

Maryland had 3 times the injuries we did. Consistency is a problem.

But we also have (BCS Bowl Victories) > = (BCS Bowl Victories by about 110 other FBS programs combined).

I think your point is fair, but what can I say, glass half full.
