# | PLEASE pass a "Green Field Turf" rule! (alternatively the Fugly Fields Thread) I actually like the weird colored fields. Those are part of those school's traditions. I don't want to take that away from them. I don't want us to do it though. Though if we did do it, I would still root for the Hokies on their #AllMaroonEverything field. Unless they did an orange effect field. That might be a problem. Or it might be awesome. Never mind. An orange effect field would be neat.

I agree. This past summer, our CBs that stayed with Tech only got better because of the stiff competition to start.

Actually we, as fans, are specifically mentioned in the agreement as each and every one of us meet the NCAA members' mutually agreed upon definition of a booster. And the rules apply to boosters all throughout the agreement.

Having 5 too many of whatever is never a bad thing. Competition is good. The only downside is if our coaches oversold them on how much playtime they would get that could affect recruiting down the road.
Tim Settle is a huge 5-star DT recruit that we can hopefully steal from UVA

I don't know how hard we are still recruiting him, but I just noticed Lamont Simmons' lead recruiter from Penn State is Anthony Midget. Good to see Hokies in other places

With social media engulfing HS kids lives it would seem like a natural connection
but there still would need to be some type of guidelines especially for coaches and boosters.

It's amazing how our recruiting has been totally revamped and jump-started - we have never seen 60 offers this quickly while we're still in our current year recruiting cycle.
