We still haven't gotten that shutout win this season...
yes yes.... I was just flipping it
Did you know he's 6'6"-250?
--every ESPN commentator, ever
and we continue to be THE DBU. Welcome aboard!
Are you referring to this one?

Or possible George Costanza?

Here are a few other I found just for kicks:

And last but certainly not least, Zach Galifianakis.

What a dick move by the SEC. Their national title streak is threatened and they pull that garbage.
Woh. That's a bit harsh. ALL of his bacon? That's just wrong.
Leal and Motley would be better at the Veer, not the Inverted Veer which requires a power running QB. (Cue in the Logan Thomas and Cam Newton comparison)
Animal House reference.
A bowl win.
Battle at Bristol tickets.
Number 11 jersey. (Had one from last year but was a size too big)
Decade of Dominance and HOAT shirts
Everyday is the same, yet different. Starts off with some position drills (guards/bigs) then they do some transition game then they stretch. After that it is either some more position drills followed by offensive schemes/etc or they go straight into offensive sets and running the floor.
They are pretty much always up tempo. Will Johnston and JVZ are tasked as being very vocal leaders and getting people in place for drills, but everyone chips in for the most part. (One of my favorite parts is that missed layups result in push ups, which they learned proper form from the Navy SEALs this summer.) Rebounding is greatly focused on and sometimes can lead to some physical confrontations, but that is the intensity that JJ wants to bring out of these guys.
He may not have the guys for his system completely (mostly because of depth), but he is getting there and we may end up surprising some teams. Haven't been that impressed by Maryland or BC and Miami is considered worse than us this year, so it may not be overall single digit wins like everyone thought at the beginning of the year.
A red zone offense. Madden says it wins ball games.
I was going to post this about the #choppingwood thing but was way too drunk so just decided to wait until the news broke.
Does anybody actually study on reading day? Ha
That was my reaction when I read this article when it initially got published as well.
Honestly, if Shai picks VT, then Scott probably looks elsewhere. I mean if he wants to come and compete, then more power to him, but looking at the depth we have now plus Williams, Reid, and Shai that's way too much to compete against versus if he chose ECU.
Ditto.
I 100% agree with you on that.
Brett Hundley was in Heisman contention for a majority of the early season and is a projected #2 round draft pick, and Anthony Barr has outperformed Jadaveon Clowney for the #1 defensive player in the draft IMO.
I also read an interesting stat that VT is 0-3 vs. PAC-12 teams under Beamer.
It'll be interesting to see how the match-up goes, but I think everyone should keep in mind that VT is seemingly outmatched...especially without Edmunds, as you said.
I would be intrigued to see him get a shot at slot WR too. I said in the Tabyus thread, given his size and quickness, maybe he could be the next Wes Welker.
Went to high school with girls named Stormy Knight and Anita Pardi (pronounced party).
So you think he'll end up being another Justin Hamilton?
Marshawn's pretty fast, but his biggest attribute is that he HURTS.
Really didn't mean to start an argument on TKP I'm a bit grumpy from finals week. Overall I am glad that we got another solid recruit and I appreciate other TKPers trying to share the news.
Not sure what the issue is really.
Living out here in PAC 12 land, I saw a lot of UCLA this season. I would say they right now are a better football team (and considerably so offensively even if Edmunds was playing).
I don't care abou any of the talking heads on ESPN in terms of their thoughts, but no reason to take any slight for these types of picks. Whether we like it or not, VT is not currently seen as a strong football team. And I think it can be argued that that is pretty close to accurate.
The Germans?
.
Forget it, he's rolling.

as was 2hokiesin1's comment.
