In a last ditched effort of "closing the gap" and creating a wi... uh non-losing culture at UVA ... Mike London is nurturing his underclassmen to think as winners! His first attempt of breaking the streak is to take them bowling right after Christmas. This mode of thinking will instill the players with the hope of actually going to a bowl in place of a bowling alley in future seasons. Also, he will personally be giving the team a police, or EX-cop escort to the bowling alley.

Washington just got a better HC because their old one went to USC, go figure. I know Washington has improved and play in a good conference but I'm actually surprised he didn't go to a bigger name school

As a '79 grad, I agree 100%, particularly on Cyrus & Razzano. Corey Moore, Jesse Penn, Bruce Smith, Jim Pyne, Jake Grove, MV. What about PK Chris Kinzer? I was at the '86 Peach Bowl when he nailed a 46-yarder in driving rain to win the game.
I feel nauseated when I think about this game, because it reminds me that the Hokies lost to Dook at home. In football. The Hokies have lost 10 games over the past two seasons, and the Duke loss this year is by far the most inexplicable of all of them.
I did not order tickets early. I'm a walk up and buy them in the street guy. Would have gone if the Hokies were playing. (Sidenote - If the Hokies get the Sun Bowl, I'm going. I have permanent dibs on a nice couch to crash on in El Paso.)
