Difficult to say, but I think X was BETTER than his brother. What year was it where he was injured the first 4-5 games, came in the second half of the season, and by the end of the year was in the top 10 in the nation is his position, led the team in tackles, and was something like 2nd in TFL?
The Adibi/Hall years were FANTASTIC for our defense. If I recall correctly, those were the years we finished 1st in the nation in Defense.

Used to ref inter-murals, and remember having a game with a team that had a DB, CB, some JV football guys and Travis Jackson who had just graduated and was on the 1995 NIT winning team. They put up 121 points in an inter-mural game!!!

Expansion pushed Boise State aside, Washington is a well paying job in a major conference, that has a loaded roster.
A good move for Shane, he needs to step out of Dad's shadow, and forge his own path. I wouldn't be surprised if Dad is encouraging him to make a move.

Agree, time for him to cash in on his sucess before it fades from memory. You either leave and get more money or pressure your school to step up and give you a nice contract increase to stay home. You can't win if you don't play.
1) Shane needs HC experience before becoming VT HC, if that happens.
2) JMU won't be able to leverage his recruiting prowess because they're JMU.
3) I can't imagine how it must be for the new offensive staff to have coach's son mixed in with them.
