Yes, in retrospect that is a better way to put it. Also, the comment was a quote from a dog show I just watched in which the commentator said "that is one feminine bitch" to describe one of the dogs, which I found hilarious.

No I meant UF. They've had a good defense all year, and an abysmal offense. Look at the top of the page. Their defense is top ten. Its not the best defense in the country, but its pretty solid.

you sir have it all wrong. that only works until violations come down and screw you. i'd rather be sparkling clean, pull in recruits who care about our culture, coaching, and winning and not about extra illegal perks, and work with that. you can win that way. those are the recruits who care about the team. the ones who go after the "extras" care about themselves

I think Charlottesville has a lot going on besides the university. It's more of a town with a college. Blacksburg, to me, is more of an actual "college town". And it's better because it has the world's greatest Polytechnic Institute and State University.

It was a joke. I think VT should be able to get coaches like EdO. Our university offers alot. I don't think we have a shot or would necessarily want him right now. Even if Stiney decides to move on, I would imagine we probably have between our new coaches and old coaches a number of candidates that would be higher on the joint desirable / probable list.
Still ... our recruiting sux... Ed O turns recruiting up bigtime wherever he goes. Whether that is violations or something I don't know, but its a too familiar VT refrain. Walking recruiting violation. There are some clearly, John Blake, Miami boosters, etc, etc, but just because we run a clean program doesn't mean that everyone who beats us in recruiting is dirty. And if that is true, and everyone is cheating, why not become the 20-30th team in the nation to join in? Otherwise we can just play for the MNC - Clean every year and let everyone else play MNC - Dirty. Absurd notion.

My point simply was based on the two meanings of the word "gay", using the word in a derogatory sense means only one thing: you believe homosexuality is derogatory.
So I suggest if that's not what you intend then you find a different word. If that is what you intend, then by all means, you have been granted the freedom to say it.
Does anyone have a list of acceptable terms that can be used for derogatory means?
Also helpful would be a timeframe that those terms will be acceptable before they too, are deemed inappropriate.
