Love it! I saw this while watching that day and I knew it would show up here.
I also have this little gem from the Maryland game. Check out the guy in the background of this Jack Tyler hit

well if i was frank, i would say "stiney's a heck of a good football coach. he'll really get after ya."
Thanks! That's great.
-It's the new YouTube Comments (as the pop-up reminds me everytime). Who knows if I'll ever see it?
1. KeF thinking 'I could go for this, but no way am I tipping it back to them...'
6. UVa player turning around like, 'Who grabbed me? Oh...'
7. That could have ended a few different ways...hit him in the back, the feet, the chest if he doesn't turn (or facemask). Didn't realize it was tossed to DJ first and he just 'tossed it back'.
Ok. Let's get hypothetical. Say I was a reporter, you be CFB, and posed a question asking if "Stiney approached you and mentioned being in over his head to you", your response would be...
If this were most other schools I would agree with you. But Frank and VT run an extremely tight lipped ship. Nothing gets out. If you don't believe me then try to find out what was said at last weeks coaches meeting. They won't tell you anything other than generalisms. The journalists covering VT have complained about it for years and years. I am sure Andy would say the same thing.
Best one of the season.

Jazmine Reeves was named a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy which is the highest award given in college soccer. She is the first ever from Tech to be named a semifinalist.
Is it just me or has this particular section of thread gotten way OT.
Depends if that HC is around next year (or not).
The grumblings I've heard is that Ford will probably be the guy and Bucky is headed to TE. I'm hoping Leal gets a fair shot at the job, but it doesn't look promising since Ford is "Loeffler's guy."
Motely was offered because he is the nephew of Donald Snell and is a pretty good athlete. Seems like he is being wasted right now being buried at QB, so hopefully they switch him to something that is going to let him have a shot of getting on the field. Even if it is on special teams.
Because he was and is playing on bad knees. And he would always drift on jump shots. If you saw tonight, all his jumpers were straight up and down and no drifting.
Too expensive to replace the hardwood.
So you're telling me Sam Rogers is a robot? Speaking of our lord and savior, why isn't he on the basketball team?
Yes. Every player was a new starter at his position. New scheme, new coach, new positions. Not a recipe for instant success. I can't remember if it was said here or on TSL, but it's been mentioned before that this line played very, very well when they had to simply line up and move people off the ball against read-and-react, gap-control defenses, like Alabama. They showed very good technique and for the most part did a good job. However, against aggressive, multiple-look defenses, they struggled with communication. It's not terribly surprising, but definitely should be something to watch as Grimes' tenure continues. The fact that we're already seeing noticeable improvement in technique should be cause for celebration in and of itself.
"An intense whining sound" -Virginia Sports Radio announcers.
CFA Bowl gets the SEC #5 pick, which usually means #6 after the BCS gets done. If we rank the teams by conference record, 5/6 puts us in the 5-3 range of Georgia and LSU. I'm not sure if the SEC has the same "one game" rule that the ACC has, but if they do, A&M and Vandy are both in play at 4-4. If the bowls above CFA reach down, USCe might also be in play (although the Outback Bowl probably won't mind having Clowney back again after last year's big play).
We also have to look at the potential opponents to look at the chances of each ACC team. If CFA chooses Georgia, they may not be worried about Duke or Miami's turnout, because UGA fans will turn out.
Duke/Vandy might be an interesting matchup, but not in a bowl of this caliber.
I will never judge someone based on their choice of jammies. Especially if they're maroon and orange VT jammies.
Can we just include every pre game quote from the players before the uva game?
