Jsketch has a history of rooting against the team they want to win. When a game isn't upcoming, their profile pic is AJ Hughes.

Bottom line: It's only weird if it doesn't work.

You mean like when we did that on the BC 1 and hit Cline wide open for a TD? Yeah, that should never happen.

Can't find anything on anyone recruiting #24 (Jake Scott)... he's listed at 5-9 165 soooo- invited walk on?

The walk back to Fontaine Ave was awesome. Let's Go the whole way....

#10yearsandcounting....

I think the foot chopping is a plus (Manning, etc)
What's great is what needs fixing (arm strength. a little more foot speed) are fixable. His football IQ, ability to throw on the run and accuracy great from the get go.

I was thinking that the calls to Finebaum will be awesome today

Seriously, are we recruiting any of those receivers? I think they all had super glue on their hands.

For the record, yes, Auburn has a couple offensive players they didn't have last year. For starters, their QB is now a safety and they got another guy who was a JC transfer.

Isn't that your job?

If the future is anything like this past year I think our QB's under center days are few and far between. I for one think it should be an automatic 15 yd penalty if a QB lines up in the shotgun or pistol inside the opponents 10 yd line though.

Completely agree. Heck I want a full stable of backs. I cant remember if I'm thinking about the Peach bowl my sophomore year or the ACCCG against Florida St. my junior year, but there was one big game where we had backs that kept getting injured so we just kept pumping out more. Evans, Williams, Wilson. Keep them coming! Theres nothing you can do to stop us!!

If Shai isn't good enough to play then he will redshirt a year. If after 2-3 years it's clear he's not going to see major playing time, he can transfer. No one was saying David Wilson shouldn't come just because Ryan Williams and Darren Evans were here.

The defensive gameplan changed completely the second Lambert stepped on the field. It was pretty much all base looks with Trimble blitzing up the middle or nickel with Tyler and/or Edwards coming through the A gaps. Foster couldn't blitz Watford because of the threat of the read option (I'm not sure we even had a single sack against him), but once that was gone, Bud released the hounds. It was beautiful.

Hokies have bad luck in ATL. Besides beating GiT our lone win to come out of there recently was against UT and LOLane Kiffin in the 2009 CFB. I don't care where we go as long as we win and build some momentum for next year and send the Seniors out with two consecitive bowl wins and #DecadeofDominance.

I noted this trend after 6-1. Both yards and points were "down" compared to last year at the time, but you look at the shootouts & losses we endured in the first half, and the change in philosophy this year (along with improved defensive play).

What was striking to me (after Maryland loss) was that last year we were barely 7-6, winning the last three games to get there. Now, we go 6-1 to start the season, everyone is excited, but four games later our record isn't any better than last year and could easily be 7-6 again (my apologies to the Commonwealth Cup).

They were showing these vids on ESPN yesterday, and I couldn't help but wonder who the hell films their friends/family watching football games? But yes, you don't get fan reactions like this in any other sport than college football.

That would be awesome but the more I look at the more I think the Russell Athletic Bowl will not pass up on Miami. It makes too much sense, it would be the only game that their fans might travel to (probably not though) since it is in Florida and Tech just went there last year so I doubt that they will be chosen to go there again. Sun or CFA makes more sense for the Hokies right now.
