Wouldn't help them this year, but since the Iron Bowl will by in Bryant-Denny next year, Alabama made some modifications:

And now given how the NFL and NCAA both are more apt to give the younger exceptional guys the nod,as opposed to the elder statesmen, do it to it.
I love QB battles. To the victor, the spoils.
Ford's a bright kid, he'll have the playbook stuff down. What he will struggle with is what you saw from Lambert this weekend, the speed-of-the-game issues.
But Lambert has had a full redshirt year and a full r-Fr year and still can't beat out Watford....so maybe Lambert just sucks.
Not a Motley fan - I feel we wasted a scholarship on him only because he was the hometown kid (which is okay to do) but I do not think he'll pan out at QB.
I would be shocked. I don't expect Hodges to be a VT QB next year, either not at VT playing QB or or at VT playing TE. Motley is a slightly better JuJu Clayton, which is to say he's an inexperienced Mark Leal.
Reasons like this are why I'm just a fan and not a prognosticator. To me when I see the foot chopping, it's reminds of an anxious movement that leads to indecision.
You guys are right though, Peyton does it. I'm not a gigantic NFL fan, so I can't say I see a lot of pro QB's do it, and the college game has a lot of hybrids so it's not a very good measuring stick either.
I'll believe you guys though. I'm super psyched the kid decided on the good guys.
I think Addazio is a quality guy. He has an contagious attitude and work ethic, I hope he turns things around at BC, (but since we play them every year, maybe not THAT well).
Gonna be tough for an ACC coach to switch, not sure how often that happens in conference. Would love to see Peterson, but his recruting base is the Southwest, might be too big a leap. But I like the thoughts.
Yep. If Ford was enrolling normally there is no doubt it would be Leal's job. The fact that Ford has that time in the spring is what could make it interesting.
You magnificent Bastard
as another poster stated, until a school with a legitimate chance at winning contacts him, he has stated he has the best boss he could hope for. i'll worry when a BCS, AQ, competitive team is in the mix. He has stated he's not interested in (re)building of a program.
Any HOAT t-shirts sighted at the game?
Our way of extending our heartfelt welcome to another cav QB
Same with "on the rise"
They keep using these phrases... I do not think they mean what Hoos think they mean.
"Gap is Closing" is the new "Da U is Back"
saying it out loud does not hide the facts.
Completely agree. It would have to be a Florida-Texas-USC type of job opening to pry him away. That's why I have Addazio #2 on my list. He would be way more likely to make an upward move to us than Strong making a lateral move or Peterson coming east.
Take that a step further... in the last 294 minutes and 26 seconds of game time, they have TWO offensive touchdowns. Yes... 9:27 to go in the first quarter of the 2009 game is how far back you have to go to find that third offensive touchdown.

Better idea: Push Lane Kiffin on em.
I Love IT....Couldn't happen to a better bunch of Pompous Hoo Cry Babies ! Does London get a contact extension? Ole Al did before he left....10 Years Straight..14 out of 15 Years , Nothing but Wuppins...I Love It.
Anyone want to start up DontFireMikeLondon.com?
Desparate times, call for despartate measures.
Chalie Strong just beat UF last year and then watched UF miss the post-season for the first time since 1979. UF will be on the phone after next year; he won't leave L-Ville for VT. Its a side step once both are in the ACC. He will wait out the eventual Muschamp opening.
I'm in. We couldn't save Al, maybe we can do better by Mike.
We might need to have a Rally to Save Mike London
I know Bud has said before that he would only go to a BCS school with a legitimate shot at winning it all. Uconn really doesn't fit that bill.
I just did some quick research...it IS the best gif of all time.
p.s. Can I get a copy

I don't think he was a wasted scholarship if we threw him into the Rov/Whip/FS mix and he played some critical special teams in his career. We're wasting him at QB, where he'll never play for us. He's a good enough athlete to contribute....at a multitude of other positions.
