if there is a game that I fully expect vt to be ready for it is this one. I want them to be mean. I hope we impose our will on them on offense and I hope the vt def lights someone up (multiple times) while out there. Most importantly I hope we play smarter and disciplined.

# | An old HOKIE tradition was actually having a live turkey mascot on the sidelines during games... Times have changed. Now UVA has a live turkey on their sidelines - their head coach.

They group on campus selling them had to stop. Not sure about the specifics, but def remember it happening.
yah it's come up before on TKP threads. There have been many examples of shirts out there that have been sold that have likenesses. But I don't believe those were ever sold officially. Rather someone selling by themselves.
However, the code specifically states it's a violation to sell, no matter how you sell. You can use privately if you want though. Whether or not they can actually police this is another issue, but better safe than sorry.
He's a Fuller. He's strong he can handle at least two of 'em.
just curious then about the Ryan William's for heisman shirts?
You can't sell these because it has a likeness of a player. That's a NCAA violation, though ironically one that the NCAA has had no issue violating themselves. As I said this is just for fun.
You can however print your own t-shirt privately. If you need help with the image let me know.
Thank you for your service, Ranger!
Should be a great weekend of football - the bama/auburn game should (could) be one for the ages!
This is great stuff. Now I'm worried though. Please not another 13-10 game.
The wr group only has 5 carries this season. Unfortunately, I am reminded of Sammy Watkins running that play. I have always wanted to see Tech make it work. Saturday will be a good day for that.
I'd be all for it - it'd have to be a wild turkey, not the white ones. We'd have to get a female turkey as well to keep around, so the male turkey would strut with full feathers.
Done. And Bud already takes a bit of every field for the lunch pail (even the Carrier Dome..classic!). Might as well let the bird drop a few Hokie stones on the opponent's field
Exactly. Hoping to continue the tradition this year!
Class of 2032 would look strong
away games only?
Drinking, Eating, Sleeping, Drinking, Eating....Gonna do it big this year since I was in Assbagistan last year for Turkey Day. Fucking Rivalry weekend too!!!
I can dig it; but would it not be a bit cruel-and-unusual to have a live turkey on the field and the smoke from dozens of cooking turkey legs wafting down to the field?
We can lose to Boston College. We can lose to Alabama. Hell, we can even lose to Dook when they manage to win 9 or 10 games during the season. But we cannot tolerate losing to UVa-C. I think we'll roll on Saturday. Wuck the Fahoos and that smelly craphole they call a town. I just hope Bud pitches a shutout so we don't have to hear that New Year's Song even once!
GO HOKIES! BEAT VIRGINIA!
You know, come to think of it... the most significant football moments in Charlottesville are of the HOKIES winning in some fashion... GO HOKIES!
Pretty sure that was Buds sprint down the sideline game.
Yes it is one difficulty with this rivalry - determining which year we beat them into oblivion is which....
GO HOKIES!
This one will always be one of my favorites. :)

Sweet potato casserole. Brown sugar, a little cinnamon, some chopped pecans, and the secret ingredient- pineapple.
nice pants! ~8)

Not true... Turkeys cant be cops and he was a cop - did you know that? I did... and I feel great knowing that he was a cop once...
