Not content, but given the fact that you just described nearly every team that plays college football, I'm not going to lose sleep every time we lose. Can we be better? Yep. Should we? Maybe. Ask me that again in a couple years when the (long overdue) new coaches have a chance to build up a program of their choosing.
I hope you are right about Bud. There are people in life that are experts at being second-in-charge, but when they become head leaders they aren't comfortable and fail. I hope Bud is a great head coach, but we won't know until it happens. I just hope he doesn't perform as poorly as Will Muschamp.

I don't really know what to say about this. I thought Logan played fine (0 turnovers). I thought the running game was fine. I thought the receivers were fine. I thought the defense was fine outside of their weekly drive or two where they just totally fall asleep and can't stop a nosebleed, but regardless they kept us in the game more than enough times. The only huge problem I thought was the OLine, which was TERRIBLE today. I just didn't expect us to lose like this, we've only lost this year when the offense completely shit the bed which I didn't think was the case today. I didn't really think anyone shit the bed today, Maryland just came out and played like they wanted it.

I respect the opinion of everyone on this forum, as there is no right or wrong, but is everyone seriously content with losing to one or two unranked teams every season and only having one top 25 win in two seasons to show for it?

I don't think this is a good welcoming attitude to have for recruits. It creates an attitude that we don't need recruits. It creates an air that we only want people who grew up wanting to be Hokies. I think if we do that we lose out on some guys coming in who are really really great looking (don't tell me Andrew Ford grew up in Pennsylvania dreaming his entire life of wearing orange and maroon).

I sit in NEZ right below the Vick banner and I was screaming at the top of my lungs to stop when they were trying to get it started. Everyone in the surrounding sections sure heard me screaming bloody murder but continued the wave until the sack. I was pissed.

LOL im gonna be miserable if we keep losing to these craptastic teams! I do think the coaching staff that we hired will do us good. But we really need to hit the recruiting trail pretty damn hard. If we can ever get this team an offense to match the defense we have it would be lights out
