I remember hearing someone on ESPNU speaking very highly of Gayle and saying he would be a great fit for a 3-4 team as an OLB in the NFL. I hope all of these Hokies have a great draft and even better NFL careers.

And both of them are listed as linebackers. As I said, there are no Hokies currently in the NFL that play the D Line. Both of the guys you mentioned may put their hands down from time to time, but Worilds plays LB for certain.

I love Tapp, but he is hardly who I would point to if I was trying to impress a recruit with a track record of NFL success.

Yeah, even after they've beaten us I can't help but feel kind of "that's cute" about their success this year

1 - Miami 2011 - It was my victory lap semester and I believe my first or second game in the North Endzone, so being appropriately inebriated, yet still able to remember most of the game and definitely the last 5 or 6 minutes of the game definitely stick out.

2a - Nebraska 2009 - From my seats in the South Endzone I could see Coale open (duh) then entire time and Tyrod bought enough time that I even started jumping up and down that he was wide open. Then the throw to Dyrell that ended it was right in front of my section so it was amazing.
2b - Miami 2009 - The very next week, being completely soaked and watching us destroy 'da U' in the rain was a great game to be at.

I agree, James Gayle, JR Collins and Derrick Hopkins. I would be surpriced if at least two out of three of these guys don't end up somewhere. If Gayle is not on the line, he could be a stand up OLB in the League easy.

Well now I wouldn't say they are in for a bad time. They won't win many games, but they can still have fun.

Been 2-4 seemingly every week so hopefully my 2 wins this week aren't my ACC picks.

It's an all favorites week:

It's crazy that within a a 5 year period (maybe less, maybe more, who knows) we'll likely have a new President, AD, and Football coach. That's a lot of change for a department that is relatively adverse to change. I hope it's handled well across the board.

I'd say the majority of that was probably Jarrell. He never really looks comfortable with the ball in his hand going up the court. Smith probably had a couple too. The WVU guards were fast and athletic so they were causing all sorts of disruptions in the transition game.

Georgia Tech at Clemson -10.5 - Hemmin' & hawin' GT
Georgia at Auburn -3.5 - Aubie
Michigan State -6.5 at Nebraska - MSU in the coin flip
Miami -2.5 at Duke - Never thought I'd say DUKE
Oklahoma State -2.5 at Texas - Okla St
Stanford -3.5 at USC - Stanbearpig!

If Debnam was on this team, he'd probably be in the rotation instead of being the hype man. I do miss some Debnam antics though...sigh.

It's because one of them parked in the driveway.

And they would expect it next year, which would make their bitter disappointment taste all that much sweeter.

Emologu is definitely a baller and is going to do some good things during his time at Tech. JJ obviously saw something in him to name him a captain.

I think the takeaway from the WVU game is that we simply played harder. We're not very talented, especially without Barksdale who can provide solid minutes, but if we play hard enough we can beat bad teams like West Virginia.
The second takeaway for me is that Ben Emologu is going to be a really good player for us.
