Come on man, we just beat Miami with precise crossing routes, a tone of fumble-luck, 4 rushing TD's, a turnover free game from LT and we need Duke to lose just one to be back where we wanted to be. Nothing can be too down this week.

Agreed. I saw 4 or 5 times when we had just gotten the ball back and the person dribbling up the court seemed nervous to keep the ball and threw it away. Offense looked good besides all the turnovers, but the defense looked bad. Definitely a game to build off of though.

Our basketball team is slowly transforming into our football team. Slow starts, lose to crap teams, beat decent teams, really young, love to dribble it, the list goes on and on....
In terms of this actual fundraiser, I will personally guarantee that all money raised will go to the actual foundation. I will take a picture/video of the actual donation in early January to verify that the entire amount is going to the right place.
This was a great win for a young team. Those guys showed some serious grit and played well outside of the typical younger player mistakes. Hopefully they can use this game as a springboard and notch a few more Out Of Conference wins!! Go Hokies!
Bill Dooley was hired to be both football coach and AD, which is a lot of responsibility for anyone. He later stepped down from both because of problems with the basketball program, IIRC. I know Frank will not be around forever, but I would hate to lose him because of something not involving football.
Don't get excited. They're going to be annihilated in league play. But for now...Hell, yeah. Suck it, WVU.

I was at the game for the second half, and I'm about ready to call Ben Emelogu the most complete player on our team. Bigs struggled with foul trouble, but Thompson was very good in his role. Still needs to get stronger but fairly skilled offensively. That's a big win for a team that was facing a lot of doubts after Saturday. Still have a lot to clean up but a great step.
Not to discredit you or anything but I've always wondered how do these fundraisers work when anyone can create it? Do 100% of the donations go towards the charitable cause?
