I foresee a long and glorious career for this joke.
Any more Journell's... to soon?????
FWIW, Florida's 4-4 and Georgia's 5-3 (and both teams are severely beaten up).
There was also Orion Martin and Cam Martin
I call that a...

Tennessee isn't even ranked and they are overrated.
For Nate...for Granny...for Caretaker...
We've had a whole heap of family ties:
Vick, Hopkins, Fuller, Newsome (Myron was a former player, Deon is enrolled now), Adibi,...
We need to make sure we land Corey Moore's son (if he has one)
Looking for Dirk Diggler for inspiration is a great idea. I imagine this is what Logan will do just before taking the field tomorrow.
NSFW!!!, but it has been baconized.
any more Adibis?
I didn't realize he'd be following Sam Rogers.
In all seriousness, though, anyone who has been conscious for the last 20 years knows that Bud Foster is the reason, or at least a huge part of the reason, for our success. It isn't quite like other, "man that follows the man," scenarios
Ahahaha, jump...

Amazing story on Dadi. Thanks Andy.
Still getting bootstomped by the Volunteers here folks. Hit twitter with campaign slogans for the Hokie Bird. If you don't want to or cant, post your suggestions here and I will post them to twitter.
Hopefully we can get a jump on his recruitment.
Well he specifically mentioned watching teams prepare for a national championship. Put yourself in his shoes, if playing for a MNC is a priority, FSU and tOSU are knocking on the door while Tech is driving through the neighborhood. Bud Foster is the best DC in the business, but there are other factors at play.
Some people are afraid of excellence.
Thanks for the lols. Turkey leg!
I feel much more confident about TKP's chances to win the game now.
BC and OL I don't understand it but I don't stick my head in the sand about it either.
We've never been able to find the OL on a consistent basis to be a Stanford / Alabama.
Historically we've been able to find the mobile QB, top tier skill players (DBs, Ss) for defense, if we had an exciting offense we could likely recruit top tier skill players for offense, somehow top tier RBs
Everything else is a gamble at this point. Frankly a gimmicky offense is probably not a bad idea if you can't get a very good OL. Call it what you want but it would feature mobile OL lotsa cutblocks, putting athletes in space and letting playas play.
Call me old fashioned but you have to be realistic about what you can recruit and/or develop. Our S&C program used to churn out marginal NFL prospects on the OL... guys that needed that RS year but by the 4th and 5th years were ready to contribute. Those days have gone IMHO. Seems like we're recruiting lots of tall athletic guys who don't want to get too big and don't believe there is an NFL payday in their future.
Whichever program gets the 5 star offensive prospects from the state of Virginia will have a shot at the MNC. Not sure this Stanford slash Alabama light offense gets us there. All the 5 stars will go to Alabama (we can hope Saban goes to Texas but from there I can guarantee he still recruits Virginia) or the SEC.
We never saw the ref that overturned the Danny Coale catch....it was a replay official.
Tremaine is considered to be a Tech lean and the youngest Hopkins is a freshmen in high school.

Here's an off-the-wall idea. Bryan Stinespring.
Hear me out before you threaten to lynch me with pitchforks and torches. He is a former OC who was out of his element, but heck of a recruiter, and a good position coach. He has the coach-speak down pat. Every time Stiney talks, it's like hearing an extension of Beamer, and would have no problem deflecting questions.
I hear that he is a super nice guy, bleeds orange and maroon, and players like him. He probably already knows how to schmooze the boosters (plenty of practice since he was a former OC) and speak with a silver tongue.
