In Tyrod's second year starting he went TD:INT 13:5 and in his third he went 24:5, not to mention those years he also went 10-2 and 11-3. But prior to Danny Coale going Danny Coale all over the field he was a walk on that I am sure that everyone was saying had no skill. He was never a 5 star guy. I am not saying that anyone on the field right now is Danny Coale but they have proven to be capable at times, so calling them a high school all star team in inaccurate. The same coaches that deemed Logan to be talented to be the starter at quarterback also believe that the wide receivers are talented enough to be starters at VT.
I assumed it was the wild turkey
Uhh, Vietnam Conflict press footage? Seriously comparing all this to napalm? Smdh
Supposed to be Glendon and wide outs, typing on an iPad sucks w the auto correct
Hang in there.
It's a just an endurance test in the end.
You know it's a million times worse in the $ec and nfl, right?
I must say I got mad after the game, but I've let it go. Guys I'm sitting here and I'm reading some of these posts and I'm confused I'm not sure if some of our fans are for us or against us. I know we're ALL upset and mad that we've lost. But please please guys stop arguing and going after Logan. This doesn't help us. I've seen it for Glennon, Tyrod and now Logan. Yes Tyrod maybe called one of the greatest Hokies of all times, but we had fans do the same thing that we're are doing now for Logan. We tear down our own players too much when they don't produce or win. We have to accept the good with the bad, if we are calling ourselves true Hokies then let's support him. He's had another bad game. I get it. But he's trying to win the game for his school, teammates, and for us. I know I may be looked at as a extremist, but yes I am human just like everyone that's on here. We get mad when things don't go our way.
Let's take Logan out of the equation here for a second. I know being a QB and taking responsibility, leadership and of course performance are major parts of being a QB. But if he was our child how would we feel or look at some of the fans that are going after him and attacking him verbally? Yes, I get it he's a grown man playing under a full-scholarship and not being paid millions like Manning or Brady, but he's still somebody's child out there. I feel like sometimes we as fans can go too far or get carried away with the actual game itself. Please let's take a step back for a second that's all I ask!
Go Hokies we'll pick it up next week.
Have to agree, people are sticking up for him a little too much. Admit he made mistakes and the game in majority goes to him. And if we win and he made good decisions, praise him. Realize the truth about what happened and don't make excuses or point fingers.
There needs to be some major changes.
If Duke wins out and goes 10-2, I feel a lot better about the fact that we lost to them.
No none was done in college. Grad school/medical school hybrid program exam = major studying. Thanks for the spelling help. Not to mention that my spelling and grammar were atrocious to begin with, but currently the major things on my mind consist of action potentials, muscles, hormones and what could go wrong with all of them.
Turnovers are a symptom of offensive dysfunction. Obviously poor QB play is a major cause of this dysfunction, but I think it extends way past that. You can lump all of this on Logan if you want (he certainly deserves some after that terrible pick-six), but to blame the 4 turnovers on him is just scapegoating him IMO. People want a head on a spike, or someone to point to, but there were mistakes across the board tonight. Fact is - we didn't play well as a team, and deserved to lose. Offense and defense. Special teams was really the only unit that fired on all cylinders (shockingly).
And if Duke wins out, they deserve to be there.
Well, the prime example is Oregon. I wouldn't necessarily say their players are bigger and stronger than the other team, but their certainly faster. And in the spread, speed is what you need.
Hooray for rhyming.
thank you. That's sorta what I was trying to say, but I don't think I got it across clearly.
Even good (and great) QBs make mistakes.

I saw this from the front row on the 10 yard line (and it was my birthday!!!! Ahh, youth.). Glory, hallelujah, it was beautiful.
Some could argue that the spread can be advantageous for a team that's more talented, simply because you win those 1v1 matchups.
Even though that's true, I still caution you regarding that comment. This is Virginia Tech Hokie football we're talking about here.
Never say such things
The coaching staff rallies around LT because they have no choice. He was a mistake from the beginning and they are making the best out of a mistake. I view it as a chance to go to the prom. Does a guy take an ugly girl, or not go at all? Well they need to go to the prom, so they will take the ugly girl. That is the relation between LT and the team.
Glad to see some reason and calm today.
There's more to life than football, it'll be okay.
Hey folks, y'all do realize that this post was basically a parody, right?
