There is a long list of inconsistent QBs in the NFL. Thomas will at least get time in the NFL to learn the mental part of the game as a backup before he ever steps on the field.

Logan isn't the only problem with this team, but hes the biggest reason we lost the last 2 games and if you people cant understand that then stop following football. The wrs don't make him throw off his back foot or throw into double coverage on the wrong read. You guys act as if our wrs are terrible or something. They have been open all yr long outside of the first few games. Its up to logan to make the right read and make the accurate pass. I agree that there are certainly drops and they deserve some blame to, but no one is stinking up the joint like logan
Yes, rebuilding year is upon us, especially since we lost to duke. The future will require shades, however.
I wasn't getting on your for being unsupportive, I was saying that with 10 hate threads, it is worth having one thread that is the opposite. I try not to create threads that have already been created.

Fully agree. I don't know why we're not rushing more in general. I could see why we were going to the air so much; it seemed like BC was giving us latitude to do it and selling out on trying to stuff the run, but some of the plays on the ground did get good yardage.
I am all about consolidating threads, but at the moment there are 10 hate threads so I figured one support thread couldn't be all that bad...plus it is, in my opinion, worth starting a thread that most people will read about the fact that the players are sticking together when the fans clearly aren't.
What bothers me about this is that the only reason our rushing attack produced so little is because we didn't use it. Our running backs got 9 carries. I keep hearing that Logan has no help and I wonder how anyone even knows. I think it'd be cool to not put the entire burden of offensive production on Logan. I love the dude and hate what's happening to him. I really think the idea that Logan has to do everything for the offense to have success is unfair to him and unnecessary. We have to start using our running backs.

Ha ha .. this is so funny Logan did not have his best effort today but he is not alone and this is a team effort .
Pluuueeeeeeese stop this line. I have heard this four four years. I have seen him blow game after game. Make inexplicable play after play. Yes it is a team effort. But if you have a QB who squanders all the hard work and effort of the team, and does it week after week, game after game, the team just loses intensity and its desire to win. Why should I try? LT is gonna screw it up anyway

So my thread titled "We're actually a good team" gets deemed as stupid as fuck just off the title by our Joe. And then there's this thread titled "Logan Thomas is the worst qb in VT history"

What Stanford is saying is that everyone watches the QB and blames the QB when they don't know the full amount of information that the coaches and team knows. Again, the team and coaches are behind him 100% which is saying something.
I'm not saying everything is his fault, but he is the QB, the most important player on the team. His play the past 2 games has contributed SIGNIFICANTLY to losing both games. I admire Stanford for sticking up for his QB, but let's be real here.

I agree a lot with how you feel about Logan, but it's his inconsistency that gets me and everyone else. My problem is that we don't need Logan to go out and win games with our defense. We got the lead today and turnovers by Logan let them back in. Knowles certainly didn't make a smart decision by what seemed almost as a casual attempt at a one hand catch, but Logan still threw that pass way too hard when it didn't need to be. I don't know why no one has told him to take some heat off the ball when it isn't needed. That is why the football has been bouncing up enough for a defender to get under it. A receiver can't always be expected to catch a ridiculous fast ball when only 5 to 10 yards away. I agree that we need Logan, but we need his best. He cannot make a throw like he did that was returned for a touchdown. I don't care what you say, a 5th year senior QB can not make that throw, even if it is his only mistake of the game (which it wasn't). That pass was completely inexcusable and I feel bad for Logan cause every time he watches it I'm sure he will just get an empty feeling in his stomach because he knows, no matter what..that kind of throw can't come from someone with as much experience as he has. The Duke interception in the endzone was almost as bad. It's these kind of decisions that Logan has to eliminate. No excuses. Period. If he does that then we win. Those decisions were major reasons we lost these games, not the only reasons just major ones. I think if you read my forum post, we would meet somewhere in the middle.
