Wait, what's dumb as fuck? If you didn't read past the title, I'm honestly wondering what's dumb as fuck. Saying we're actually a good team or the comments?

Edit: And I think it's funny that there's a thread titled "Logan Thomas is the worst QB in VT history" but somehow my thread titled "We're actually a good team" warrants this response from you Joe.

I don't think Leal is Tyrod. I think he isn't Logan Thomas.

I hope you're right. As frustrated as we all are right now, every damn one of us who are physically able to will be watching that game and hoping for a win. I'm dejected, but will never give up. My expectations have evolved as the season has moved along and probably will continue to do so, but I love the Hokies and I love college football.

Okay seriously man, just chill out for a second. We're all Hokie fans here. I know the loss sucks, but let's try not to take it out on each other

How come no one ever complains about special teams? They are equally as bad as the offense. If Hughes wasn't punting his leg off (and Cody nailing an astonishing 56 yard-er today, if that really was him under that helmet) ST would really be the weakest spot on this team by a lot. The return game is non-existent, however coverage has been good since 'Bama.

We are starting to sound like Georgia Tech fans bitching about Reggie Ball.

He plays like a freshman cause he's had 1 year of good coaching. I'm not gonna bother reading the rest cause you're just a pissy little kid. Get over it. Any time a coach teaches a kid more in 3 months than he learned in 4 years, you question the past coaching staff.

Not a huge LT fan here, but he does hold just about every passing record at VT.

I stood up for Glennon and I'll stand up for Thomas. the only reason Thomas is still playing is that we don't have a Tyrod. before you say Leal is this year's Tyrod let me just say this: if he were he'd be starting.

Y'all can downvote this all you want, but I agree, wholeheartedly, with this.

Logan does give us a great chance to win week in and week out. He can run and has the strongest arm of any quarterback in college football. He is also the reason we lose many of the games we do, though. Having four turnovers for two straight weeks against Duke and Boston College is acceptable, especially as a fifth-year senior!

I understand Logan had to sacrifice a lot when he decided to become a QB when he got to Tech, but he DID have experience in high school as a QB. He was also mentored by the second greatest QB in Virginia Tech history, Tyrod Taylor.

My point is, Logan has had PLENTY of time to figure out what is a good decision and what isn't. Yes, our receivers are not the most talented. Yes, they've been responsible for quite a bit of Logan's interceptions, but those guys ARE young, unlike Logan. Not even Sean Glennon made the mistakes as a senior that Logan has.

In all seriousness, I do think Mark Leal should get his shot.

They are Stanford east with the smash mouth running, but just without all the wins.

As a NY Giants fan I regrettably need to throw Eli Manning out there. Hero one week and chump the next.

This has been a rough fall for me.

just because he is going to be drafted doesn't mean he should especially at qb. Physically attributes mean squat when you have a 2 cent football mind on the field

Haha screw me. Thanks man. That's positive right there. I won't even respond to the football piece of your comment since you feel the need to make this a personal thing.

But I will say this: I support my Hokies by wanting what's best for the team and Logan is not that. Plain and simple. I don't enjoy talking negatively of Logan (if "bashing" is being honest about his performance then I guess I'm bashing). I'd much rather talk about how great he is and how he's winning us games. But....

Now have a good day sir. I'm sorry that I made you mad.

If someone is going to start for 3 years, they should break some records

What I'm saying is that everyone, that's right everyone, else did not play well.

His receivers have improved, but the team around him still isn't exactly elite. Once again, I'll point to drops by Knowles and Meyer today. If those 2 guys hold on to those two balls, this is a much different discussion. I don't see why you've made it your life mission to bash LT, but if that's the way you "support" your Hokies, screw you.

*EDIT* Also, the reason people were so quiet about the deficiencies of the rest of the offense during the winning streak was that people weren't coming after Logan like an angry mob during that time. Remember when LT3 had 3 more yards of offense than our entire offense? You still think he's the problem?

Yeah, but I hope that the team takes on an 'us against the world' attitude and goes and beat Miami.
That's the fun of this season: ANYone could beat us, but we could also beat anyone.

So what are you trying to say? I don't get your point. How did we watch different games? I agree that Stanford and Edmunds played well. Maybe the best games of both of their careers. Definitely best game for Stanford, maybe second best for Trey behind bama.

Obviously not everything is on Logan. You can nitpick if you'd like. He's our problem though. That's my point.

Given how many freshmen and walk-ons are starting for our O, and the addition of three new coaches on the offensive side of the ball, that spells rebuilding for me, too.
