Oh that's easy, just advertise Wild Turkey 0.0. and if that doesn't exist, make it exist.
You can't do wild turkey cause people will complain it promotes drinking even though ever other add is for boner pills and/or beer
Love seeing 40% chance of snow 6 days out in coastal SC knowing that 65 and sunny is the likely outcome.
Edit: just double checked the forecast already changed to rain with a 50 degree high.
Also there is potential at least for another significant storm towards end of upcoming weekend!
Yeah-neighborhood roads suck but no widespread power outages. To see the bullet we dodged, see Norther Mississippi-they have folks who will be out for WEEKS; imagine that with the forecast highs here for all week being freezing or below and lows being single digits!
With the NCAA now allowing commercial sponsorship patches on uniforms (up to two sponsorship logos, up to four inches in size), I mean .... it's one or the other. Or both. These are layups.https://t.co/Z4Req29WhE pic.twitter.com/lfvq6xKhDVβ Will Stewart (@WillStewartTSL) January 26, 2026
Yeah the stretch of 460 from Christiansburg to Blacksburg was SO sparse and different back in the 80s; nothing of consequence except the Corning Glass plant near Peppers Ferry. No shopping centers/housing developments etc anywhere near there.
Then again the back of Terrace View at Hunt Club and Progress was the extent of that part of town then- and now there's a crap-ton of new housing/apartments back that way ....and Patrick Henry Rd stopped at Tom's Creek. Our little town is all grown up now!
I had to buy a speedometer for mine since I new I was speeding through a neighborhood while full assist was on. It also helps me know how fast I'm going on the greenway and can adjust easily for other people or groups of people. Don't need to blow buy them and make it dangerous. I've got mine above 30 mph but that was going down a big steep hill to my parents house. I've also tuned the assist down a little to get better battery life and I don't really need to go that fast all the time.
Definitely been to the Farmhouse with my family back in the early/mid 80s for dinner on their infrequent visits...
Somehow I imagine this sounding like the singing frog in the old Looney Tunes cartoon 'One Froggy Evening' when after siging up a storm the curtain would go up and the frog would be on the stage floor and have that long drawn out 'brrrrr-rrrrr-up' sound...
Palisades is awesome.
When I was a student in the early 70s, the Farmhouse was 'the place' and it was surrounded by nothing but farmland. Definitely not so much these days. There has to be hundreds of homes on the former farmland.
IIRC he's in State College.
welp, there you go!
Yeah, I think we got about 12-15 inches in Harrisburg this weekend. Luckily most of the streets are already clear... but it's not going to get above freezing for at least a week.
HOAT- what part of central PA are you in?
Got close to the 18" we were expecting up here in Central PA. Light powder, easy to shovel. No power outages so far, about fifteen degree high for the next week. Time to dig out.
We'd all see what magical games we can play.
Agreed. As someone who only ever lived in VA to go to VT, I felt the same way for years about UVA, WV, Pitt when it comes to "I get it, people would feel nostalgic if we stop(ped) playing them". Miami is a bigger rivalry to me.
not exactly what I meant. Once one player wins then all players win.
4+ inches of snow and then 4-5 " of sleet on top here Southeast of Harrisonburg. It sucks. All that sleet just rolled off the roof so I have 2' high piles in front of my garage doors and at my back door. Had to dig out my boiler intake a couple times too.
Thank you! This must be what I had in mind, but was thinking it was closer to campus. Looking at the location, the surrounding area must not have been as developed when I was in school. Maybe I'm wrong, but I remember it being in the middle of nothing.
Revenue Share is a fixed number per school so if they give it to a star they take it from a bunch of others. NIL is another matter.
Definitely not a strategy. For this team there's nothing strategic about it. It's more of a hope for their sake. I was more so referencing the 2022 ACC championship run of our beloved Hokies.
They are good enough to possibly string together the wins to do so with this roster. Probable, not so much. Plausible, sure.
We "Lovett" in Lovettsville. Beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Harper's Ferry is a great area, so much to do. Jefferson Rock, the museum's, the brewery, pub, etc. The MD Heights and Old Stone Fort hikes are awesome. Have done them plenty of times.

Smithfield and Butterball aren't sponsoring the same team. Wild Turkey would be awesome but also unlikely.
