A Wake win still helps us, assuming a Miami loss to FSU next week.

If Miami had two ACC losses an we had one, we would be the division champs

Touchdown Wake! I know it is REALLY early in this game, but Miami still looks so over-rated to me.

Although, I want Miami to win this game. I wanted UNC to win against them because it would've helped our division race, but I have no reason to pull for Wake Forest here.

WAKE BEGAN WITH 80-yd, 8:34 Touchdown drive! Miami is looking ahead to FSU.

I was 17. I had gotten a concussion that morning playing backyard football. I can remember the field swimming under me during the game. There was no way I was gonna miss Mike Vick and Corey Moore put on a show.

Miami's 3rd down defense is shaky at the moment. They're also showing a weakness for screens. Wake moving the ball really well on the first drive; let's see if that holds up over the course of the game.

Update: Wake scores a TD on their first drive, eating up 8:30 of clock time. Wow.

I like to pretend the season ended with that Miami game and Pitt, uva, cal never happened. Even taking into account last year that was by far my least favorite season since the expectations were so high.

If I have to pick anyone, it would be Ohio State. Penn State has been sneaky like that.

Once they're both gone, Sumlin will have a bare cupboard and should bail before he gets found out as a coach who gets bailed out by playmakers.

Like Urban Meyer?

I agree with them revoking some student organizations block seating. If you have an agreement with the school that your group will attend and be in these seats, and then you don't use it, why should those seats still be reserved for you? Other people would most likely want them and use them.

As for the average joe at the game? They paid for the tickets, they can come and go as they please, although personally I think they should support the team and stay.

I think it went UNC-Miami-GT. I might not remember correctly, but UNC couldn't go, Miami passed, and GT was given the go-ahead. Can't recall if Miami was 'first' or not, but I seem to recall something about UNC calling themselves the Coastal champions last year...

Agree on #1 for sure. OU is better than TTU, who I think is overrated simply by default thanks to all the chaos.

1) Not an upset, no matter what the records or rankings say
2) Definitely an upset, but I think Mizzou wins.
3) #allTheTurnovers is a good call, but I don't think Wake has the pass rush to force this many. I go one turnover.
4) GT will take out another week of frustration on UVA and win by at least 7 TD. 56-13

Agreed. I think Peterson should recognize at this point that Boise has topped out. If he gets an offer from USCw, he should go.

USCw has another candidate though, in Kevin Sumlin. He should stay at ATM one more year, given that Mike Evans and Manziel are both sophomores, they should stay one more year. As long as he has them both, their offense will be great. Once Manziel looses Evans, his safety valve will be gone, and he should go pro. Once they're both gone, Sumlin will have a bare cupboard and should bail before he gets found out as a coach who gets bailed out by playmakers. If USCw went this route, they'd need to hold onto Orgeron for one more year to get Sumlin. It would be a very USCw move to give him a one year deal.

A couple of predictions, just for fun:

1. OU upsets TTU
2. USCe upsets Mizzou
3. Stephen Morris throws 2 picks, Miami has one fumble for 3 total TOs lost
4. GT 35, UVa 13

Anyone else see the Virginia tech sign on college gameday IN Oregon???

I love it!!!!

This is probably my favorite referee moment of all time.
