I've been to the one in Hooville a couple times. Decent pizza, but I will miss Backstreet's, which was one of the first restaurants I went to in Blacksburg when my sister was in school there. We also had my rehearsal dinner there a couple years ago. It will be missed, and no chain pizza place will ever hold a candle to it, IMHO.
This would be an accurate assessment. Good pies, but they don't make their own dough which is disappointing for me.
Best Foe-rensics evah.
Instant classic.
One tweak, if I may be so bold: add a silhouette of Ralph Sampson to #7.
We're doing well with what we have. The more this new coaching staff inculcates the roster, the better our offensive performance will be down the line. Right now, mistake-free football is a crucial and field position battles must be won.
Mellow Mushrooms, which I've never heard of, sounds like it will be the place for white-people-with-dreadlocks, hacky-sackin', organic-bread-eatin', don't-let-the-man-turn-you-into-an-eigman hippies.
Mind = Blown

I have very fond memories of that game.

Never heard him play a note
Noteworthy posts, though
He was also related to the author of the original 007 Novels, Ian Fleming. Helluva resume
very good job. Tukery legs galore for you!!!

Speechless :-(
As a defensive back I'd like to hit him. "Ooops, I missed."
We should totally have a "Meme Team."
Wartooth, you've got quite a knack for images. Nicely done.
I guess TKP doesn't have an image club like the have an AV Team. I guess it is a visual, though. I nominate Hokie Wartooth for Visual Team!
This exchange reminds me of Andy Bitter pwning commenters on his blog.
Also, Tina Fey is hot.
I've never posted a topic.

First, I don't think we'll leapfrog some of those teams with one loss. Depends on who the loss is to, though. If Alabama loses one game this year, we won't jump them, since our loss is to them, but if they lost to Southeastern Polytechnic School of Mines or something, it could still be possible.
I don't see a 1-loss SEC team who did not win their division or conference playing for the national championship again. Alabama did it one year when everyone had one loss (a year in which OkSt probably should have been in the MNC against LSU), but everything is dependent on when you lose and who you lose to.
I agree that I don't think we'll play for the MNC this year, but it doesn't take a homer to see imagine how it is still possible. If we take it one week at a time, win out, and chaos ensues all over the country, anything is possible.
1- all are acceptable, but my preference goes pork>beef>chicken
2- again, I appreciate the differences in all varieties so long as they are homemade, all of you throwing out brands should be ashamed, I always lean to the vinegar side though
3- at a tailgate, I don't know, I'm always blitzed by that point
4- in Blacksburg, beer at the tailgate and a few bourbons in the game, in Charlotte I could easily walk to the train from my old house making drunkenness a non-issue for the drive home, so ACCCG or Panthers games were insane amounts of whatever was in front of me
5- I didn't eat much in my school days, but I would go West End first
6- both, my tailgate for the UNC game had 20 bacon, egg & cheese biscuits, jalapeo & bacon pimento cheese pregame & pulled pork, ramburgers (lamb & beef, but you know, Ramses, see what I did there?), and Mac & cheese, every but of it homemade (and there were only 2 of us, our tailgating neighbors love us & the more food I send home to my buddy's wife gets me first choice of games to take his tickets)
7- see 5, really didn't eat out a lot
8- TOTS & Hokie House
Is THAT how people are sitting on legs on legz?
I wish I could find an HD version of this. All the videos of it look like they came off of a VHS that was left in the car too long during summer.
And for all you kids that don't know what VHS is, look it up. Maybe at the PUBLIC LIBRARY. You may find in on a roll of MICROFICHE

Wait, at 31 should have learned this already?!?!
I usually just go out to the pasture...
I've really been high on him whenever I see his highlights. He has almost RMFW-esque vision (and the hair doesn't hurt to make this comparison), but not quite as quick or fast. He waits for his blocking to develop, which is something that we've seen that we need. His speed and quickness will hopefully be improved with some offseason training here, while keeping his power. Another think I like is how successful he is in his jukes, which I think is because he is always going upfield and makes up ground on defenders while still being smooth enough to shake them when they're not quite ready for him to be as close as he is.

I've become so much more knowledgable as a football fan since I started coming to this site and reading your articles. Thanks French!
