Darn, I wish VT got the Mariott. I know management there VERY well. I'm going save up my money and shoot to get a seat in the Allisons. $140 for my ticket is worth it. This is a once in a lifetime thing.

Great find!

You're a good chap for that.

Get ice on that shit like...immediately. Faster the swelling goes down, easier recovery.

You're right. His height it was I meant. I mentioned it earlier in a previous comment but I didn't feel the need to reiterate. At DT I could see his height limiting his ability to bat passes (see Luther Maddy last week vs Pitt), but I wonder if his height could help him get under the arms of the o-line.

I'm laughing so hard I'm scaring the kids! LOL!!!

OK, someone had to do it.

had to be done

Looks like a pie man to me!

Tennessee is designated as the home team and will wear orange. Virginia Tech is the road team and will wear maroon or white. Given how much the teams solid-colored uniforms differ in brightness, Id imagine a Vols orange against a Hokies maroon would probably be a safe bet.

Spending friday and saturday morning with the gf since she is having her wisdom teeth out and then probably working Saturday night. If not, then probably watching the FSU/Clemson game.

He's a shadow of the 2008 Torres. That kid was lethal, he's only shown flashes of that when playing Europa games hiding behind the Zorres mask.

Another Liverpool Hokie?! My dog is named Scousa for being born on the anniversary of Hillsborough. The next day would have earned her a Hokie name in memory of the 32.

According to ESPN stats he is currently 5th in the nation with 1949 yards, 43 punts, a long of 56 and and average of 45.3

That 5th is in terms of total yards as well as in number of punts, he's 15th in terms of punt average, but his long is tied at a paltry 93rd.

So if he keeps up his current average (or at least increases it slightly), he should probably still be within the top 5 by the end of the year, so hopefully that would help in terms of voting.

To be fair though, he has the highest # yards in a power conference, all the others ahead of him are mid-tier conferences, and all but one of those players ahead of him are listed as primarily placekickers who probably double as punters.

6' is. I mean the way he's playing he should get a shot, but its below prototypical size.

The Hokie line is better than it was when they played them as well. The offense continues to improve. I say we just go ahead and rematch them in a BCS game at the end of the year. After they drop one but still get an at large bid. Revenge is sweet. Hokies 16 - Bama 10.

I think we match up better against Alabama than Oregon and TA&M. Mobile QBs has always give Bud's defenses the most trouble. I think UNC knew that earlier this year and played their QB that gave them the best chance to win.
Even so, Alabama still beats us if we played this week, something like 21-10. They're hugely talented, and they were working some bugs out against us in the first meeting. BTW, they are one of the best teams in the history of college football with McCarron back for his senior season.
Unfortunately, Oregon beats us by a similar margin. We score 10 more points but so do they. TA&M, that'd be a toss-up. I could see both teams scoring about 30. Ohio St, probably better all-around but we might be able to hang with them too.
I like the way we match up against almost anybody that doesn't have a mobile QB. Luckily there are a lot less of them at the end of the season than at the beginning.

If he isn't in the top three for the Ray Guy I'd be shocked. He is up there in numbers and is doing a damn fine job.

Yep, go to work at 2pm. next week...the last swing shift the nooner worked out okay, but it was Marshall, so it wasn't looking good when I left about 2pm.
