Crossed those scrubs off our list. Who is next?

By the way, nice Karaoke Chop by Bud Foster

Isn't part of the reason Dadi hasn't been used like that much is because he can only rush the passer? Sounds like he doesn't know the schemes yet, they just tell him which side to go on and to go get the QB.

Kyshoen is shifty but he's indecisive.

I still think they showed some promise running against Alabama. If they really are as banged up as we have been hearing, they should improve. I don't think they'll be great, just show improvement. If anything, it's more practice time.

It's just ACC Virginia Tech teams, not all time. Otherwise I'm sure he would've included Corey Moore

I would take Worilds over Gayle, and V. Burns at Punter. IMO. Otherwise pretty solid

I also agree that the read option looks terrible. Logan is the most unnatural of runners unless he's headed North-South on the inverted veer. If our running game is going to suck eggs, I would at least like it to be a tailback fighting for those tough yards instead of our QB.

I agree, I'm mostly worried about ball security. He needs to take fair catches instead of getting leveled as soon as he catches it.

But why would be be selfish and keep 8 other teams from feeling that same pleasure?

I completely agree.
Pitt played a fantastic game against us. The only team (including Alabama) to not turn the ball over to our great defense, so their offense was very disciplined as well.
On defense, they've got a decent line of their own (that DT was a beast, and their end is almost as good.) They stopped the run and didn't give up the big play.
And we still outscored their offense IN THE FIRST QUARTER.

Jayron was PERFECT for Foster's scheme though. Had a great ability to put a foot in the ground and come forward to jump routes. He wasn't just picking off lollipop throws, he was seeing the routes and beating the receiver to the ball.

Was he great in man on man, turn and run coverage? Not GREAT. But Foster wouldn't have to ask him to do that with the pass rush that he'd be getting with that front four.

Jayron wasn't really anything spectacular in coverage. If you want a cover guy I think Roc Carmichael is really underrated in terms of cover corners that we've had here. Jayron had that breakout season because no teams threw at Roc
