I would definitely do this if they would put it on a radio station down here or stream it online for less than 80-frickin-dollars!

With all the upsets, where do y'all think we will be ranked? Just curious. Obviously I still want us to just keep winning and taking each game one at a time.

I just want a write-in for my fave VT specialists Dustin Keys and Nic Schmidt! A 6'2" 276 lbs PUNTER!!! And he could make that ball just DIE in the 5-yard line.

Their remaining schedule:

Duke
GT
Clemson
@UNC
@Miami
VT

The only game where they may be favored is against Duke.

If Moorehead is the receivers coach in this scenario, I would put Marcus Davis on my roster. Everyone seems to focus on his blocking deficiencies, but the dude came within about 10 yards of Andre Davis' singe-season receiving yardage record on an underwhelming offense.

Look at our starting five OLs. R-Jr Wang has bad ankles, a bad foot, and a hurt wing. R-Jr Benedict will never be 100% because of the knee injury he suffered in high school. R-Sr Miller is the ultimate wounded warrior - too many injuries to list, including the bad leg injury he suffered last year. As a Jr, Farris started five games at center in 2012, and has started all 7 games this year at guard. McLaughlin is a true freshman - he has 7 college games as a starter to his credit, that's it.

Now, add to the above the fact that most teams have loaded the box against us this year, daring LT to beat them through the air. Alabama played a defense that was reactive in style and we dinged them for 153 rushing yards. WCU played a normal defensive alignment and we hit them for 237 rushing yards. ECU was the first team this year to load the box against us and they were very effective, limiting us to 53 yards on the ground. Marshall played a more normal defense and we got them for 201 rushing yards. The last three teams (GT, UNC, and Pitt) have loaded the box against us and they've held us to 55, 48, and 76 rushing yards respectively. Are you catching a pattern here?

I'm sorry to be the first to tell you if you don't already know, but what you're seeing now from the Tech OLs may be the best we're going to see this year. They will do moderately well against defenses that don't load the box, and not very good against defenses that shoot every gap and force our guys to make decisions about who to block.

But, in the meantime, LT is making good decisions as to where to throw the ball, and our receivers are getting a lot of work - they're getting better with each game. That will eventually force defenders to back out of the box and we will see better results from the running game.

Other merciless Hokie safeties... ANNNNNNND GO!

Mine are Eddie Whitley and Ronyell Whitaker

Today was one upset after another. TAMU held off a late rally, and Manziel is still exciting to watch everytime he's on the field.

I feel very fortunate VT didn't suffer the fate of several ranked today. It was just one of those Saturdays.

I forgot Eddie Whitley. He wasn't all that great of a cover guy but, such a hard hitter.

For alternates I select:
QB T-Mobile, Bryan Randall
RB Darren Evans, David Wilson
WR Jarratt Boykin & Danny Coale
CB Eric Green, Roc Carmichael
DL John Graves, Chris Ellis
S Kam Chancellor, Jimmy Williams

Another great thing to be involved with. Reminds me of a few years ago when the Make-A-Wish foundation came to tech with a kid who wanted to perform in a halftime show with the MVs. doing stuff like that is what's really important.

But we have no running attack. We could get close to 50-60 too probably if we were balanced and could finish drives with 6 pts. Plus, Duke has to play our defense in a few weeks, not Pitt's.

Aaron Rouse at rover
Sergio Render on OL
Chris Ellis at DE
Hosley at corner
John Graves at DT

We need to hand the ball off under center instead of all this delayed option crap every time. loffener is standing up in the Offensive coordinator box like he's nervous every game all game. Lets get this Offense Rolling and win the ACC!
