I've found this to generally be the case for season ticket holders since I've graduated, but there were plenty of students looking to make a quick buck (maybe not so much since we weren't great last year, I wouldn't know now). I knew people who would buy season tickets with the sole purpose of selling them to make a profit and it always pissed me off.
I woke up at 4am on my couch this morning and saw that highlights from the WNBA were on the TV (apparently there was some sort of championship or something?). All I'll say is it wouldn't shock me if many of the women on both rosters had residences in Charlottesville.
Aaron is quite a handful (much faster than you would expect a man of his build to be), but he can be made a non-factor through PROPER doubleteams (see FSU game). Since Pitt is a 3-4 team it's really important for the line to get out to the linebackers while running, I'd say if VT seals Aaron off with a double team and run off guard away from Todd Thomas that you could gain some real yardage. That being said, Ejuan Price is also a solid linebacker, on the opposite side... so it's really run away from whomever is having a better game (Price vs. Thomas).

I have Season tickets at Pitt and we play ND fairly often. My tickets face are less than 50 a piece, equivalent seats are going for 170 a piece.

That's what I'm saying. These kids try to step up (backwards) onto the seats behind them, with a 2-person void in the bleachers in front of them. It makes no sense.
I know it's not a sellout and hasn't been for a while, but one thing I have loved about this fan base, is that I have never had to pay more than face value for a home game ticket. We've always been able to have people that were like "I can't make it. Pay face value and it's yours." I don't know about other schools that have lots of competition for tickets, but I've seen tickets skyrocket because people seek to make a profit on tickets they don't use.
That makes me happy.
More annoyed than anything else :( I had some while I was in Ohio recently, and ever since you mentioned it, I've been craving some. I've called just about every liquor store in town *sigh*

The music is perfect. The editing is fantastic. I just want to watch that Hokie Domination continue into the Pitt game and beyond.

Dude check out Radford's hotels. Hell I even see VT fans at the hotel right off exit 101 (my exit) at the lake. Its only a 20-25 min drive from bburg.

Generally in March, I believe. The ACC announces the schedules in February, so I would imagine it would be shortly thereafter in order to get a jump on Season Ticket sales which start late March.

A bit off topic but does anyone know when next season's schedule is usually officially released? April or so? I want to make sure I get a Blacksburg hotel room this year and apparently 3 months prior to kickoff is not early enough.

Part of the reason it's done at Ravens games is that not only are the fanbases pretty much one and the same, but M&T Bank Stadium (the Ravens stadium) is about 1 minute walking distance from Camden Yards. I'm an Orioles fan myself, but I've never once done the "Oh" thing at anything other than Orioles games.
