I think we should do a TKP tailgate in Charlottesville. Seriously.

I remember a couple of years ago my dad and I were driving to the spring game and one of our tires popped right off of the Charlottesville exit. As soon as we pulled over I turned to him and said, "Well yet another reason to hate Charlottesville."

Don't be too shocked. You can find and buy almost anything in China through the magic of www.taobao.com (imagine Amazon if it had loose morals and broad interpretations on regulation of so-called fakes and/or real "off-the-truck" merchandise) And it will all be delivered to your door.

For instance I could order the following:
Horse

on a

Treadmill

("horse" and "treadmill" are linked)

Bumper sticker back in the day....
"Woman at the Citadel?! What's next? Men at UVA?"

Was a little upset about pulling the Thursday night game this year. But Weaver is starting to earn my respect back: OSU to kick off the season, Tennessee the year after that, put WVU on the schedule again, got PSU, and Wisconsin in there too. Gotta a lot to look forward to

WHY MUST I BE STUCK IN CHARLOTTESVILLE TODAY?! I mean damn everything about hooville sucks! The men (actually, what men?) Are pretentious as shit, the women are not attractive. At. All. Hell even the traffic patterns around town suck! UVA I really don't like you

You can make the "What if we didn't play a big OOC game" argument for a lot of our seasons. But ultimately, a lot of being a successful program in both recruiting and getting enough voters to be ranked high enough to play in a NCG is playing big games.

I love that we try and play a powerhouse every year and frankly, I have no respect for teams that play nobody and get in the discussion for playing for a title. You want to be the best, you have the beat the best.

Ultimately, it's just hard to win a national title. You honestly, have to have some things go your way.

I always have liked Cutcliffe. Dude is a great coach, he would do great things if he had better talent.

In years past, people were too quick to laud praise on VT based on past success. This year, I feel like they are not talking about us because of what happened last year. This team is winning and everyone is waiting for them to blow it. Take care of business like weeks past and we will be right where we want to be going into the Miami game.

It would be a shame if VT ran the table and missed a shot at something larger because we played Alabama instead of Directional University instead.

You're daggone right it goes through Tech!!! Just look at last year, when he didn't win the division, there were 3 teams that had to share it, and get their piece while they could. Because they won't have a shot at it again for some time.

Every year when I check the schedule on Hokiesports, it lists the ACCCG. So that means we're playing in it, right?! Its on the schedule!!!!

It seems to me we have always played our best when we have had something to prove. When we get disrespected and overlooked by the media, when we have a chip on our shoulder, when we are the dogs - that is when we tend to play like angry, sweaty-beaked, Hokies. Oh, and add to this something about Sam Rogers and the Fullers - and that is how I feel about it.

There's a book my brothers fiancee bought it for me for Christmas a few years back, its pretty awesome and stocked full of hokie football history I can't quite remember its name off the top of my head (again I'm doing my key playing in diff eq so I can't check)

That DT worries me the most as well. We definitely need to improve in the running game, but with the whole line banged up and David Wang on the injury report, I'm not sure how we get it going this week.

I laughed at this because I just had to visit the real Charlottesville HS today for my job. (I live in Richmond)

This guy gets it. All this talk about Miami (and probably deservingly so) but people forget that until some team can win the ACC out of the Coastal (legitimately, Georgia Tech) it goes through us. I know that sounds conceited but I truly believe it.

Just to add to all this. I have a friend that used to work for a newspaper in my hometown. He moved down to the SWVA area a few years ago and now covers a lot of high school sports. But, he also covers the Bristol races every year. He knows that track better than any of us on here probably do. Give him a follow to keep informed from the Bristol perspective. I know Andy will do a fantastic job, but this guy's just closer 24/7 and would be a great resource to ask questions to. He also has a sense of humor that would go over well on this site, so you guys should like him.

He likes Chicago sports teams and wishes Jay Cutler was his BFF.
