I am surrounded by Murland alum/fans.
I would like nothing better than them to finish last in a conference where the winner is 8-4, meaning the entire lot sucks.
I never thought I'd say these words:
Thank you Chad Henne!
Agreed. The lowest I have rated Loffler is about a B and that was second half against UNC. Most his play calling has been inspired. He and the other coaches are working with the talent they have and are experimenting to see where they can improve.
haha... I am oddly digging the aggressive nature of ALL your posts. Not sure if that is real or an intentional persona as with HOAT, but you should definitely change your picture to something that looks upset. +1
Yes, he plans to enroll in January
Interesting...I am actually heading to Shanghai for work this weekend. I will be there from the 13th to the 18th.
Any tips/recommendations? I have never been to China.
The sad part is from everything I've heard and read, Stiney is a good positions coach. He was just over his head and Frank would not demote him.
Is he planning on enrolling early? Can't remember
Since I do not like the Big Ten, I hope Maryland goes in and puts a whoopin' on all 'em.
On paper, UVa recruits well. They get 4 and 5 star kids. On paper. Some of them pan out. Some of them fail miserably. Maybe its because the "system" and coaching at UVa. Maybe its because they are overrated to begin with. Maybe it's because their potential has been maxed out prior to them getting to college.
Personally, they can have all of the paper victories they want. OUr coaches and players will outwork them and it shows up on the scoreboard every November. Hey, the have to do something decent, right?!
Saw this on Imgur and was laughing way too hard. Reminded me of high school a bit.
That's where I got it from. As soon as I saw the comment on how old the guy looked, I had to share it. I lose it at that "'let me see yo report card...go get my belt,' face."
Not sure if that was a joke or not as there was no sarcastica font, but it did make me LOL with a nervous chuckle. +1

So you're saying... there were actually more people at the UVA spring game?
1) If we have enough scholarships in the class for him, and:
2) If we haven't already filled our DT quota for the year, and:
3) If he seems like the kind of kid we want then
Sure.
If:
1) He flushed our offer letter down the toilet or
2) Seems like he's only out for himself then
No.
Having said that:
1) I would love to steal a 5 star from UVA
2) We need to bring in every elite VA recruit we can
haha... Anyone who like my grandpa's jokes gets a turkey leg!
Yes and no. I am not in NYC. I am in Shanghai. Been in China for past 13 years, Shanghai for past 5.
Technically I am an Urban Designer by education, but I have designed and built a shitload of buildings, city planning/urban design, landscape and a smattering of interior work. a few hundred projects. I have worked for some of the largest design companies in the world running their offices here in China, but now have my own company. Started April 2012 and now have 34 staff.
At the moment we are designing two boutique hotels, two shopping malls, about 10 landscape projects, a new city district and a 10 sq mile tourism zone, and a smattering of interior work. But we have some big things coming down the pipe.
Which buildings are you working on in the Naval yard? We are finishing out a restoration project here in Shanghai as as well.
shit... if you're interested in chatting design, then my email is nc@watershed.cn . No need to clog up TKP with it.
there is a distinct lack of Hokie grads in China unfortunately. later dude
Yep.
If we can hold onto the current staff/philosophies for a few years, then we can actually develop an offensive 'system' at VT, and had reactions to opponent's defensive adjustments.
Just look at Paul Johnson-his system serves him well, and he knows just how to adjust based upon the opponents. (But having his players execute like he wants them to is another issue.)
I think we have that at VT on defense. Foster for the most part has his players and can get them to buy into his adjustments.
Imagine the possibilities......
I was going to go way more into the innuendo but I decided against it. Glad it was noticeable.
Would be nice if people outside the ACC would read this, but alas, it is just for us to complain more about the SEC bias.
Savage scares me he can spin his bean really well! Needs to be on his back early and often.
Yes, and those issues start at the top. I personally wouldn't want to be part of that situation.
It's just a thought....as much as LT's run killed them in 2011 (and to an extent with the long TD last year), I think they're going to be very attentive to him in the run game. What better way than to use our own QB as a run decoy, and throw against our tendencies.
Do I detect locker room issues?
I don't just want a win. I want pure, utter, annihilation.
And I want it to not stop until Russel Shell shows up from wherever and kneels down on the 50 yd line tearfully exclaiming, "I'm sorry!!! I take it back!!! I take it all back!!!"
I want to see the Pitt QB, Savage, at the post game press thing to say, "On this day, I am truly sorry that my father and mother ever met."
(But a win is cool, too.)

Awesome. You prefer beer, beer or beer?
Send me an email man. As of right now I am business trip free and will be in Shanghai all next week.
