Ok, let's go your same route. Why don't you start naming everything around your office that is not associated with women "something-kake." WaterCooler-kake. Lunch-kake. etc. And let's see if women don't find it offensive. I am not an undergrad, so I know this will get you fired. Something that is sexist or racist doesn't need to be said to a woman or a person of that race for it to be so. try calling a man the C word next to a woman and see if she doesn't find it offensive because you didn't say it to her.
if you want to "educate" others on where the line is on sexism then you best understand it yourself first.
yep it's just you....football is waaaaaay more important than sacrificing thousands of jobs over a political pissing contest...jeez..get with the times man!
Just the H.O.R., oh let's not limit ourselves. Pretty much all of Congress, the White House and numerous federal agencies are dysfunctional. I'm sitting here in Honduras waiting for a visa for my adopted Honduran daughter from the Dept of State that can't be issued until the Immigration folks at Dept of Homeland Security get around to just approving the stupid paperwork and this has been going on for 2 months, meanwhile the rest of the family is in VA getting to watch the Hokies on TV while I have to hope the internet is working so that I can use VTPhreak's connection. GRRRRRR! And the sad/ironic thing is that we can travel anywhere in the world together on her Honduran passport, except the good old USA. Double GRRRRRR!
Favorite homemade T-shirt at the National Championship: "I'd rather have a big Vick than a little Weinke"
One of my favorite Hokie memories is waking up at 2am so that my dad & I could go get in line for Gameday. My dad became the unofficial policeman of the line, catching people who were trying to cut & sending them to the back. After Gameday, my dad hung out & got to meet Fowler. Fowler liked our sign and asked to have it to keep on the bus. My dad cherishes his Fowler signed, Gameday hardhat!

Is the Eurowx software used to make the EURO model? How do you think it compares versus other models like the GFS?
can't possibly compare to the eccentric genius of Carl Prather...
plus it seems like loeffler likes to play mind games and he holds his cards close to his chest. I'm sure since he'll only have Leal for 1 year he'll use it as an opportunity to really mold his own QB recruit and keep him under wraps until he can break him out in 2015. I expect Leal to play a majority of every game next season and then in 2015 we might see an entirely different type of QB who will have a couple of years in the system under his belt and can come out and surprise some people. We might have a pretty solid O-line by then too and we'll be able to get more into the power running type of offense Loeffler says he wants to run.
Yep, anybody can get beat, even All-Americans. Except Sam Rogers.

# | Bruce Feldman's Top 10: The biggest impact freshmen in college football (Brandon Facyson No. 7) I see what you did there
Polk was the only president to accomplish his platform. Granted, it was only 4 planks to knock out. But, he did do what he set out to do.

# | Bitter blog - With Exum and Facyson as options at CB, Foster might ride the hot hand I think assuming Leal will be the starter next year is a safe bet. He's going to be r-Sr going into his fifth year in the program. Additionally, Loeffler has stated that he can do everything LT can do. It would take an extraordinary effort by any of the other QBs to take the starting job away from Leal.

# | Bruce Feldman's Top 10: The biggest impact freshmen in college football (Brandon Facyson No. 7) If Jarrett doesn't recover like a beast and intercept the ball at the goalline against Marshall with 1:00 left, we would have been roasting Facyson for letting #11 just run right by him at a critical moment.
Having tried BBQ from Georgia to Olympia, Washington (Ranch House might be the best I've ever had) and everywhere in between, I can definitely say I fall into the tomato based camp.
IIRC, I had a thermal, the orange effect shirt, a hoodie and that jersey on and I don't remember being too cold. Maybe because we were so packed in that we could share body heat.
Definitely for the best. Yay football!
It's been a while since AP US History....like my teacher was a UF alum and she wouldn't stop gushing over Tim Tebow
I wish I had heard that. I'd definitely remember it.
Interesting. I'll keep comments regarding the current government shutdown out of this though.
The Song Girls are as good of a reason as any
I see what you're saying, but we still need to fear the spread teams, with the offense doing what it does. Foster's scheme will slow down a good spread team...but a good spread team, aka - Marshall is still capable of scoring 20 pts on this D. The Hokies have yet to score 20 pts in regulation against FBS competition this year. That could be a problem.

Maybe if London is fired.
