He goes to my high school. He made a 50 yarder as a freshman in game. He's proven that he's consistent and has a strong leg, and he loves VT. no reason we shouldnt be able to snag him. by the way he's also a great punter, I think he averages like 43 per punt, so even if he loses the starting kicking job (which i doubt) he is an effective punter

I bet playing a few reps at WR at NCAA level makes him a better CB.
I say let the decision be between the stud and his coaches and we re the rewards over the next few years.
It just seems like all season we've set ourselves up to only throw passes within 10-yards of the LOS. I think there's a good chance we could smash teams with an occasional deep ball, thereby making defenses respect the potential for the deep pass.
And Tech will definitely take those shots when they present themselves. If that Corner starts jumping Stanford's route, then expect to see just such a double move. If he doesn't start doing that though, it's probably in Tech's best interest to go ahead and take those short throws after short throws. Especially on a 1st and 10. Ball-control and getting first downs should be the goal, in order to keep the defense rested and in good field position.

Hopefully it means that whatever needed fixing wasn't too dire and they wanted to give his body some time to naturally heal what it could. I would think that would help minimize range of motion issues, etc.
