I love that Desmond thought his joke was downright hilarious but you hear no one else laughing.

# | Bitter blog - Journell trying to put threatening phone call out of mind, focus on finding kicking form Sigh... there are crazy people everywhere. I would have hoped that Hokie Nation would be above garbage like this, but apparently a few crazies (or at least one) have snuck into our ranks as well. Hopefully he can put this out of mind and get back to the basics, we need him to get back to last season's form.
FWIW, here's what face-on said about playing wide receiver in January:
I'm looking to get faster, bigger. I like press coverage so speaking from a DB standpoint, I wanna work on my press coverage skills and just study a lot of film and recognize defenses. In high school, it's not as complex as the collegiate level. I wanna learn the overall scheme and if I end up playing wide receiver a little bit, just recognize the coverage skills and changing the route and getting in touch with the quarterbacks, having a chemistry. Coach Gray, he recruited me as a defensive back, so that's what I'm going in as, but if they need me to line up in a couple of receiver packages, I'd be more than happy to do that to help the team.
Exactly GT had a triple option and he chopped it down to NONE. Did she think she had more?

IS HE GONE?????
So does Frank Beamer fall into either one of the winning coach categories? I'd say the personal connection one, but Frank can be snarly if agitated and be Saban-esque if pushed.
Dude won at least 4 games all by himself last year and put a big one through against GT. Not even touching the fact that there's no acceptable reason whatsoever to threaten the life of a fellow human being (and Hokie) over a game of football (that we won, no less). Seriously, people.... That guy's just lucky he wasn't messin with one of Mama Fuller's boys.
Kyle Fuller high-fiving the ref.
Easily made my day. And my week.
LOL at 'Lennay does nudes'
Some possible scenarios for Dabo & Morris....1.USC hires Sumlin from aTm.....aTm comes calling for Dabo (or Morris) 2. USC hires Dabo. 3. USC gives Morris the job. 4. If Dabo leaves Clemson, Morris gets the Clemson HC job.
I think he's gotten better about it and do agree that he researches and makes intelligent arguments. A couple years ago though you couldn't get through a broadcast with him in the booth without hearing about OSU.
People need to get a life. (note: I get the irony of me posting this with 3k+ turkey legs)
I heard they also converted a cop to a head coach... some bold moves up there in hooville

Maryland

Cosign, and many tOSU fans don't like him because of this.
I think Sumlin and Petersen are the lead candidates for USCw. Petersen understands that Boise has topped out, and if he wants to make money he needs to move. Sumlin will leave after Manziel leaves, a la Urban/Tebow. Might as well trade up while your stock is up.

Says the guy who posted "beekake". Come on man. I get that your tired of the HD posts. At this point, surprisingly I am too, but I'm not sure your the guy to draw the line for everyone else on sexism.
And I have seen a lot of people call out Mark Schlablach as well, not just HD.

EDIT: I like Lou Holtz a lot. Not his interactions with May. And he's a Notre Homer. I can only take him in small doses. But I like him anyway. And this is an actual quote, one he uses often.
Just not sold on the Canes yet. The U has beat a bad Florida team, South Florida who's lost bad too everyone, FAU I didn't know played football lol, and a FCS school.
Maryland's fan base is typically why I enjoy their losses. I know a few personally, and I hold any comment. As for the team, as long as they lose to us.
Florida State did get exposed like someone said a little while ago in the thread. That's interesting.
Of all the OSU guys in sports media, Herbie is the best. He really isn't biased towards Ohio State, takes his journalistic integrity very seriously, is very knowledgeable about the sport and the communities, and does his research. In fact, he used to live in Ohio but had to move to Tennessee because the OSU crowd didn't like that he's not a homer and harassed him about it.
Side note: For as much as many of us might not like Michigan, I can handle Michigan fans. Maybe a little pompous, but most of the Michigan fans are very intelligent people and a good discussion. OSU fans are generally the WVU/LSU of the Big2Little10. Not an elite public academic institution like Michigan, generally entitled and classless, and constantly view the world through buckeye-colored glasses.
If you ever go to the CT's website, you'll see that 95% of the comments on there are bots/spam. It's ridiculous.
Why not? UVA converted a DB to quaterback a few years ago and almost beat us in Blacksburg. Remember that interception in the red zone (it may have even been in the endzone) to save the game. Fantastic.
He's got wheels to burn and tracks the ball well. Let's see what he can do on those fly routes.
I saw on Colbert the other night that YouTube is changing the comment policy, and just read an article about Popular Science shutting down comments altogether. Comments sections only briefly existed as non-bot, non-troll areas, and that was more than a decade ago. It was going to come to this. Back in the day I responded to trolls, but eventually decided it wasn't worth it.
They are fantastic improvements. I was critical of the diminishing rushing game after Alabama. I understood the injuries, but we ran well against Bama. Then I saw how decent the rush defense of ECU and Marshall was against other teams. So I love the fresh air on the sideline, should be a good year.

I must be odd man out here....I enjoy Herbie for the most part...he has his moments, sure, but overall more positive than negative. Gameday crew overall I really enjoy. I get a kick out of Holtz, but I can see how he could get on someone's nerves (my wife falls amongst that number). I even enjoy Mark May. Some of the other talent at the mothership get on my nerves (this includes his Mussness). As for the internet staff, ESPN has relegated most of them to the interwebs for a reason.
