Well he is the best corner in the country... And I didn't even know it...

hahahaha i jumped in the air and landed on my dog got yelled at by my fiance and chugged my beer, this seems like a much safer end of game celebration

Paul Finebaum says this list is terrible because Camp Randall and Lane is on there. Replaced them with Auburn and another SEC team (can't remember which one.) He is such a homer. Lane is ten times louder then Auburn and is way higher than number 5.

Mama knows best b/c she gets paid to know. Guess that proves the old adage: "A fool and his money are soon parted." Keep laughing all the way to the bank Mama.

I think its important to give the GT defense credit, as they did the job they intended to do. They took away our running game and covered the deep routes well. There was some room on the short routes, which Logan hit before pressure got to him. They tackled well and held the our offense to 17 pts, with 7 coming from a short field.

Remember, this is the same GT defense that only gave up 20 to the UNC high-powered spread attack. If we hadn't missed the short FG with about 5 minutes left, Logan and Co. would have had 20 pts as well.

Give credit to the GT defense, they did a decent job. Logan and our offense were even better.

Bonner is the DB who calls the defenses - I don't know any other player who could do that as well or better than Bonner. I think as fans we tend to make judgments about players based on their performance during their last game. In comparison to the way the other DBs played against GT, yes, Bonner had a "bad" game, but the defenses and alignments he called contributed to a nearly complete smothering of the GT offense. Think about it - we gave up 10 points to a team that was averaging 45 points per game, and we held their vaunted 345 yards per game rushing attack to 129 yards. Hard to mess with success. I don't know what Foster's going to do when Exum is 100%.

Also, we haven't given up a score in the 4th quarter this year yet. A trend I'd love to see continue.

I worked through Tech dealing with the drunken public, and a few times I lost my cool and let the 'perps know what time I would be off. Thank God I'm too old for social networking. Cut him some slack, college bros only have a few years experience handling all that testosterone.

That kind of crap happened to Sean Glennon and his sister who also attended Tech. His parents received quite a few nasty phone calls in the middle of the night from so-called Tech "fans". It's no wonder his brother, Mike Glennon, wouldn't even consider us when he was being recruited out of high school.

His receivers caught the ball!

All I could think whenever Knowles (aka Clifford Franklin) caught the ball, was about time and I hope he keeps it up. If you are the default number one since Coles can only play so many snaps, then you have to act like it and catch whatever is thrown your way and if you can't catch it, make sure the other team doesn't either.

I was under the impression that the injury report rankings are based on the likelihood a player will play. The more serious the ranking, the less likely they are to play (for example: a doubtful player probably won't make an appearance but a questionable player is 50/50).

If Thomas was hurt but the coaches were 100 percent sure he was going to play, they could absolutely withhold him from practice and not put him on the injury report without being accused of lying.

So true.

I'm not going to say I'll be surprised if Exum comes back and actually plays better then how great Kendall and Brandon are playing right now... but yeah. I'll be surprised. Those two are both playing lights out.

Exum was the best single cover guy we had on the team last year. But considering how drastically Kyle appears to have improved and how stunning the two freshmen have played, if Exum comes back anything less then 100 percent he could very well be the fourth best cover guy this season.

Anyone see that punt at the start of the 4th quarter when Kyle started to get into some GT players face? Guess who the first player to his side was? Kendall. Gotta love it.

This is why I liked DJ Parker a lot.

Oh. And this. This is another reason.

How DARE he come over to MY blog and write such an atrocity of a game "analysis". He didn't even mention how Georgia Tech's offense killed themselves with false start penalties. That must've been why they lost, looking at the box score.

Sorry accidental down vote. Can someone help correct my mistake please?

Remember when mcdonalds gave out free fries if we won and you showed them your ticket? So it is possible to do something similar, they would just need to figure out a way for it to apply only to the fans who stayed the entire game.

I'm glad college PI rules are less damaging than NFL PI rules. Only for Bonner's sake.
