Lee was infuriatingly good at getting rid of the ball a split second before he got annihilated. Happily, it meant throwing off his back foot and hanging balls up there forever, which finally bit him on that last play.

I don't think we played robber coverage, I think it was just that Vad airs it out when he is under pressure. the 40 yard pass was lucky and the second PI was stupid because the receiver stopped running, but bonner has to turn his head to find the ball

Considering were 4th in the nation on 3rd downs I think that says a lot, especially when we've got a game against Oregon in our stats!
This is my favorite part. That is probably because Oregon scored on first and second down and didn't have to bother with 3rd.

EDIT: I was thinking about this as I went to sleep last night. I think the Marshall offense might be the best we see all year.
Remember last year? Many of the comments being posted about Bonner were being posted about Exum last year. He was targeted and couldn't stop anyone without a pass interference call. But, he certainly got coached up and became a shutdown cover man. Time to coach up Bonner.
