I guess they will have to tell the world the story behind our silly helmets....

Maybe the announcers will start referring to Georgia Tech as "G-ah Tech" this year...I'll drink a fifth of bourbon down when that happens. It drives me crazy hearing ESPN announcers calling us "V-ah Tech" year in and year out.

With the new scoreboard trapping more sound, Lane could be VERY loud. Wait till we are ranked playing a ranked team at night and we will be shaking the glass again. Sad part is we should be doing that every game.

Our back up dts will not be getting much work in this game if any. If the backups do get some action they will not be in at the same time barring injury.

But... but... what about impressing potential recruits with our #helmetswag?

I agree with you to a certain extent. I think that the next two games will define our season. If our offense can gain some momentum and show a little bit more in the way of consistency I think we might see 9 or 10 wins. That said, we still have to get through some ACC defenses that look much more capable than in recent years.

He has some solid work on there. I like the pylon probably the best strangely enough.
Also, those baseball mocks are pretty sick looking. And yes, those are the uniforms for basketball this year. We have the usual 4 (white, maroon, orange, grey) and they are actually pretty good looking.

I remember the Miami game in Lane in the downpour. It was loud, so loud you could see the noise and you could see the steam rising from people's breath as they were yelling because it was cold outside. It was unreal loud that day.

I can only imagine the backlash if they try to shorten it to calling us Virginia or them Georgia to refrain from saying '_ Tech' every time.

forgot about that one, how could I??? but other than that there aren't many. It is the rarity that our O gets into a shootout. Not how we're designed as an O.

Everyone always talks about LSU's legendary "Earthquake Game" but I would say this is equally impressive with only 66k fans:

VT vs. Miami football game registers as earthquake

Notice, it wasn't SI who did this. It was actually on the NCAA site that they got it, so that's pretty cool. I'd say we might be slightly ahead of Wisconsin, but the Shoe should also probably be on the list. Hard to argue with the other stadiums mentioned.

Sorry, but this actually made me laugh.

that's pretty good for a TE

Taking it all with a grain of salt.

Clearly, they're not the only school with silly fans -- we like writing off an entire fan base based off of one bad forum too!

Universal Gah Tech Fans response: "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"

Where on campus? I don't normally travel farther towards the drillfield than Randolph.
