It is much more difficult to run a naked bootleg against a 3-4, and Marshall's DE's were not reading anything. Both scenarios make it a challenge to run boot.
The triple option will be there this week. Watch for Mangus to get a big gain on a pitch.

Also the best period of 'The Neck's' career at ESPN is when she took an extended break and Matt Fortuna wrote for the ACC.
I was going to make a new post about THE NECK..she pisses me.off. $ecespn doesn't like the hokies for some reason..why call the dc to say what happened with your defense..I know she didn't see the game..if a program doesn't have an exciting offense espn writes them off.
Foster would prefer both teams to be coming off byes, like Clemson and N.C. State were last Thursday night.
Bonus: Bud Foster got an interesting voice mail from ESPN ACC blogger Heather Dinich.
Foster started his interview by talking about a phone message he got from Dinich after the Marshall game.
"She called, left me a message," Foster said. " Im looking at the stat sheet and what happened? It doesnt look like the same team that showed up with Alabama.' ... I left her a message too, as you guys can imagine."
Foster went on to say how good he thought Marshall quarterback Rakeem Cato was in that game.
"The kid played a hell of a game," Foster said. "Youve got to give him credit."
Also, I think the best part of all of this is that it shows that she didn't even watch the game on Saturday. She just looked at the stats and assumed that was good enough to write about the downfall of the Hokies.
I just saw World War Z and I swear he looks like one. Zombie, that is...I'm cool with that.
Andy, is Heather even a well-respected writer within the ACC bloggers community? I'm sure you know the bloggers from all the other schools, she has to be the butt of a lot of jokes.

That woman... The only thing I can think of is that she has money on the game and thinks that that comment is going to cause the defense to break down and GT to win or it's going to make them so pissed off they'll swarm over the bumble bees like angry Japanese hornets. I'm going with the former from her track record of stupid.
