Agree on Logan. He's our guy and rightfully so, he's the best QB we got. But his decision making has got to be better. You can blame coaching, but he's a D-1 scholarship player and we expect better from him. Fair or unfair, it's just how it is at this level.

Cato is a straight baller, I have some mad respect for him after today.

Props to everyone who stayed through. I'm usually not for bashing our own fanbase, but to everyone who left early today:

MAN THE FUCK UP! You knew the weather and we were losing at half, don't you ever dare leave a game like that again.

But most of all, I am proud if this team. It was miserable weather and a sloppy game, but those guys fought all dayong and earned it. A lot of teams ball up there and just take the loss and go home, we fought and that is something that deserves a lot of credit. This team is tough and they showed it today.

Most importantly, it's a win and we're 3-1. Time to go after the ACC now.

FUCK GT!!! BEAT GT!!!

The Boston College game is still the most fun I've ever had at a football game. Take away those last two minutes, and it would have been one of the best nights of my life.

Which is why I stopped being a Falcons fan when they drafted Matt Ryan. And why I drafted Matt Ryan in the 4th round of my fantasy football league, just so I could bench him for the rest of the season.

I REALLY WISH I COULD +1 THIS. You hit on a lot of my thoughts.

We saw the return of Beamerball, even if only for a day.

We witnessed the first multi-OT game in Lane history, and (I'm pretty sure) the first multi-OT win in Hokie history.

The not-terrible rain and wind (except for the 5 minutes directly surrounding our 2OT FG attempt.....)

A ton of people leaving early

The people who remained still being loud and involved in the last 5 mins + OT

Realizing that we don't need the people who are leaving at halftime (though it'd be nice if we had more people like those who stayed)

I agree completely, he still seems to be holding back parts of the playbook. VERY little under center stuff again, I hope that Loeffler is just biding his time to break it out.

If on Thursday night Tech spends the same percentage of plays in the Pistol, we can start thinking about maybe one day having that discussion in 3 years.

no

Absolutely not. Stinespring was on some next level awful.

Loeffler has only called plays for Tech for 4 games. Stinespring was setting the standard for poor strategery for what, a decade? The only AWFUL play call was the 4th-and-everyone-knew-Logan-was-going-to-run-it.

The difference between Loeffler and Stinespring? Loeffler's game plans MAKE SENSE. They are COHERENT. In short... they are, at worst, average. Stinespring's were, at best, bad.

It would've been nice to have JC or even Joel Caleb get some snaps to preserve Logan

I was there for the Miami game and that was awesome. I was also there for the Matty Ice debacle in the rain

In Andy Bitter's post-game article, Bud said that if it had been anyone other than Hopkins, it would have been a TD. I found that hilarious.

Dang Skip is slow. If only Maddy would have seen the running back coming up from behind and destroyed him

I enjoyed the blocks and all but I'm not willing to say its back until they do it against ranked opponents (with all due respect to Marshall, I don't care about ecu).

The ref gifs are pure gold. WTF was wrong with that dude?

SKIP IT IN
SKIP IT IN
SKIP IT IN

Yea I noticed that too. I know they try to teach kickers to go high, just to avoid blocks, that might have contributed if he pushed it low to get the distance

If the definition for fairness is making both parties equally unhappy, these refs did it.

You mean, that is not the norm with Hokie football? Man, we are the masters in creating drama. If we are expected to lose, we play like our lives are at stake and turn it into a fight. If we are expected to win handily, we play down to the other team's level and still create drama. Talk about grey hair!

I didn't catch that actually, I saw that it had enough leg (went wide right) but it still could have gotten there if it was tipped. If it was, then that's not his fault I suppose.

Sorry, f-k'd on the voting. Meant for ^ vote.

This game could be much like the Duke 2011 game. Both before GT and everybody predicting GT to win. We all know what happened there. Granted Tech had a bye week to prepare for them that game but still.

Every minute he spends up there in that booth sitting next to Stiney he seems to be going back to Stiney's style. Someone please tell me things will get better.

I'm not a student (didn't have the grades) but I'd kill to have the opportunity to yell my throat off through a game like this. Some of the guys take these games for granted while I can only make it to maybe one game a year and it's usually against the FCS opponent. I'll have to get a companion ticket next year and show them how it's done.
