well we could certainly use some receivers...I'm pretty excited to get this Cameron kid on campus next year
That's pretty awesome! How much longer have the 14 programs ahead of VT been playing?
And who are they?
And what's your source (not that I don't believe you...but you know how things are)

Yeah. Nobody on this forum has that problem.
which is why he got so butt hurt over Wisconsin losing to Arizona State the way they did

A win Saturday will give VT its 700th all-time win. The 15th D-1 school to do so
I don't have that problem
I'm snickering over "it's hard to go deep"...
Wilbon went to Northwestern. They won a total of three games during his four years there.
It's like asking Cubs fans about how to win the World Series. Oops, he's a Cubs fan too...
I believe that the rules allow the offense to place the ball at any point between the hashes on the 3 yard line so technically, we COULD do that.
I believe these were actually the work of Shane's daughters, as a project for elementary school art class.
Cody Journell. He's just not ready for the pressures of collegiate football against mediocre opponents.
That's the part I don't know. I never really payed attention to it that much. I just assume we do because if we don't then our TV contract with ESPN might be the stupidest thing ever.
Wilbon said VT wins early and loses late....we do exactly the opposite of that. I like him a lot in general but he clearly knows nothing about college Football
I saw that article earlier, he threw a really pretty, catchable, looking ball at the end of that vid.

# | Bitter blog - Beamer confident Journell will find kicking stroke & more Monday notes Sam Rogers could do it. But he doesn't kick the ball. He kicks the world and the uprights end up going around the ball.
Ah, yes, but is Tank Johnson a freaking Duke? That's the real question here.
But GT is going to be tough. Good thing Calvin Johnson's eligibility has run out.
This one has to be up there. Macho and Flowers were sick, and Kam, even not in his natural position, was a wrecking crew. Those three might have been the best in college football, and Flowers and Kam are both some of the best at what they do in the NFL. But we have much more depth this year than we had that year. So I'd have to go with this year (with a healthy Exumtaur) over that group, because the drop off after the starters here is practically nonexistent.
Agreed. I usually like hearing their opinions about serious sports matters, and I think Wilbon is the best in the business at giving serious topics serious treatment. But when it comes to college football, I know more than they do. I watch more. I read more. I listen more. I pay more attention to the entire landscape. I don't go to them for anything NCAAF.
On a side note, I am hoping that Oregon doesn't win out. They'll be given the golden ticket anytime they're highly ranked. I'd make the more the Wisconsin than the VT. We tend to lose a game every year we should win. So does Wisconsin. But if either Wisconsin or Oregon win out, they're in the MNC. We would still need help.
wilbon hates us, his wife sits on some board at uva. it's an insult. i like pti but those two know jack shit about college football.
Of course you can't. They're camouflaged. Sigh.
It's tough to put anyone above the 2007 group - Macho may not have gone too far as a pro, but you could count on him for a pick a game... he was just a ball-hawk. And Flowers was (and still is) one of the best corners in the game. Meanwhile Kam mashed it up from the Strong Safety position and was just an animal. That entire 2007 secondary was absurdly good.
The awesome thing is... even as I write this, I'm really not sure which one is better. This one is definitely up with the 2007 one as the best I have ever seen here.
they usually play hampton last so i dont think its them
Nobody is giving Georgia Tech the Respect they deserve. Vad Lee is a beast! He is 100x the QB Tevin Washington will ever be annd he is 10x better than Nesbitt. HE runs an easy 4.5 and has a cannon of an arm. WE struggled when GT had an athletic QB with Nesbitt, let alone a great athlete. Not to mention the fact that we are playing them on a short week. GT is our main problem, but UNC is not too far behind. They have beaten us 2 out the last 4 meetings. Also, DUKE JOHNSON is a FREAKING TANK!
i think jmichons' point is that if cojo's back was bothering him so badly that he cant make a pat, then they should've put in the backup. that's not telling him he sucks and giving up, that's a starter missing a game due to injury.
