Nobody is giving Georgia Tech the Respect they deserve. Vad Lee is a beast! He is 100x the QB Tevin Washington will ever be annd he is 10x better than Nesbitt. HE runs an easy 4.5 and has a cannon of an arm. WE struggled when GT had an athletic QB with Nesbitt, let alone a great athlete. Not to mention the fact that we are playing them on a short week. GT is our main problem, but UNC is not too far behind. They have beaten us 2 out the last 4 meetings. Also, DUKE JOHNSON is a FREAKING TANK!

True, I was just going in terms of the numbers but I guess the lack of numbers shows that they're throwing away from him. I wonder what opposing teams are going to do when we have Exum and two Fullers or Exum, Kyle and Facyson with Kendall rotating in. This secondary could easily be one of the best we've ever had.

Could be the topic for a whole new thread, but where do you guys think this group of corners ranks all-time?

He's going to practice kicking field goals for a whole week. It's not like he has to worry about complex assignments in Bud's defensive schemes. I imagine both Journell and Beamer will know by the end of this week just how confident we should be feeling. If he starts to have some success, and starts kicking like he usually does by the end of this week, his confidence will be fine. If he doesn't, his confidence will lower, and Beamer probably won't trot him out there. I really don't see Journell going out there on Saturday if he kicks like this all week. I also don't see him kicking like he did last week this coming Saturday if he kicks better this week.

Here is the question....If Journell comes out for a 30 yard FG next Saturday against Marshall and pulls a low knuckleball 10 yards to the left, do you leave him in for another shot? If so, what if he does the same thing on the next kick? Where do you draw the line as far as yanking him from the game and putting Mitchell Ludwig in the game?

I think you need to practice another kicker this week as if they are the #1 also...you have to have Ludwig ready to go. Last week was not acceptable. If he was hurting then he shouldn't have been out there. No excuses...

It was letting down the team and almost cost us the game. I am disappointed in the coaches for not taking him out if they knew he had back spasms.....

The only thing they got wrong was that the Horse On A Treadmill didn't win. Horses On Treadmills always win.

Although I guess a whirling dervish horse in an office chair could put up a good race.

I could just be stupid here, but is the ACC guaranteed to have a game in each slot each week? I feel like if this was the case, we'd have Clemson or Florida State on television every saturday at 7:30, but I could be wrong.

You can read all the posts. Boom, marked as read.

I think this has been asked before, by you if I am not mistaken, and I don't have the cycles to make the change at this time. Nor would I push this sort of a change out during the season. It requires some mildly complex MySQL statements to an area of the code I'm not 100% familiar with.

The good news, posts will automatically stop displaying as new after a certain time period (30 days I believe) passes.

I don't want Bonner moved. But of all the guys in the secondary, he'd by my first choice to sit if there was an Exum-related question.

Ah, my fault. Didn't connect the right dots.

....better than a nooner in any case

(turns on best beavis and butthead voice)
huh huh....you said nooner....huh huh....

I seriously think we have a LOLUVA grad trolling as an employee in our uniform department. I recommend an internal investigation/witchhunt/mccarthyism trial.

While most seem to believe that we are more of a darkhorse than a contender, I don't see any team that is that much better than us. GT scares me only because the triple option is tough. We have held it well, but it's still tough to play against since one mistake can make you pay. Miami though, their offense had 212 yards against UF. Duke Johnson is good, but I think Stephen Morris is similar to Jacory Harris. UNC, well I can't really tell with them. They appear to be a struggling defense and a slightly above average offense. They shredded us last year, but they haven't shown much this year that puts them as a huge threat in my books. Then again, they played a good USCe and then gave up 20 to Middle Tennessee. When it comes down to those three teams, I'm glad we play GT and UNC early since it could be before they are running on all cylinders and I'm glad we get Miami at the end so that we can be moving better. I have faith that our defense can hold UNC and GT for us to win and that our offense will come along enough for us to win against Miami.

well even if Klimpson get's the 7:30 slot we could still get the 3:30 slot...and that way it'll be getting dark by the end of the game....better than a nooner in any case

Even though it's against BC, you don't think Clemson gets the night game? Clemson seems to be the media lovechild in the ACC these days.
