Exactly - same reason these agents flipped on the SEC kids - they got spurned by them, and saw no reason not to air some dirty laundry. Guys who weren't happy with the way things went down for whatever reason are the most likely whistleblower. You think Dez Bryant is going to come out and say "yeah, I'm funtionally illiterate, smoked pot all the time, and was paid by boosters!"... No way. Somone who saw all that crap happen and was upset because a) they didn't get any, or b) they were oppossed to the way things were being done are going to be the guys who speak out.

Not sure why we should consider these unreliable sources. Yes, they all have something in common...being hurt by the university (at least in their eyes). I would think this would encourage them to come forward...and maybe they would be more willing to testify for the NCAA (since no one else will).
The superstars aren't going to say anything as they benefited from the cheating and they are reveared by the school (and have future value).
Loeffler said yesterday that they specifically didn't want to run Logan against WCU. So that was just a faux-veer sweep.
